I haven't and won't take my car anywhere else. They always do a bang up job. Prices are best in town and the workers are all very personable. Bruce is one of the workers and always really easy to talk to. He's the only one who has touched my car.

Ken and his crew have been influential in making sure my car, a 2001 Audi is maintained and put into optimum working order. I was concerned when buying a German sports luxury vehicle, especially an older one - everyone says don't buy one it's too expensive to maintain. With Ken and Schetter's Automotive not only is it possible to own and maintain, but they help ensure the right parts are put on the car for the lowest possible price, and their service rate is competitively priced. Since bringing my car to Ken's auto shop and having my first service done, I have peace of mind knowing that I have a mechanic who is working in my best interest and making sure the car is functioning 110% to it's potential. He is knowledgeable and teaches me about the car, so that I am informed and learning as the maintenance is done and repairs are made. I no longer have to shop around for a mechanic; I just call Ken and everything gets taken care of.

I've had several mechanics look at my car and either they can't service it because its a BMW, or they put non-BMW parts in it as a workaround.

Took my car there for the first time two months ago on the recommendation of the rep at Auto Zone. My car is 21 years old and Schetter's has it running like I just drove it brand new off the lot.

I will never go to another mechanic. In fact, I just bought a second BMW (2002 330xi) and had it towed directly to Schetter's to get everything fixed. Just wish they did tires!

Seriously, this is the best mechanic in town, especially if you drive a BMW.

I brought my 2017 Subaru Outback in to have the 60k recommended service completed. They changed my spark plugs and at my request the ignition coils and serpentine belt. While it was being serviced, they notice my front brakes were quite worn and making a noise. I had my front brakes and rotors replaced. They didn't try to up sell me and tell me to replace the rear brakes, just told me what my vehicle actually needed. Everyone at the shop was kind. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone and I'm lucky to have them in my neighborhood.

The Schetter's crew have been incredible these last few days, for both my car and my friend's. When I limped in early Monday morning with broken brakes, I was prepared to be off the road for at least 24 hours. I think Ken might've told me as much initially, but to my surprise I got a call some hours later that everything was ready to go! I picked up my car same day, good as new. Thank you Schetter's Auto for exceeding expectations at an affordable price.

I have been going to Schetter's for about 10 years. I drive my cars until they drop. Ken and the crew are always great. They are fair in their pricing, pleasant and do a good job. They warranty their work too. I have never found a place that will fix subsequent issues caused by a defective part that they previously replaced. That really isn't their fault and many shops wouldn't disclose that to their customers. What an honest shop! I will continue to be their customer as long as I am living around Milwaukee. Outstanding service, especially for older vehicles.

I cannot express enough how thankful I am for this place! They have always taken great care of my vehicle and I’ve always felt comfortable bringing my car to them, knowing it’s in good hands. I value this place and the employees so much and am forever thankful for them taking care of all my car issues!

Ken and his crew are THE BEST! My Kia was stolen (huh, whoda thunk?) and since Schetter's was so close to me, I took it there for repairs. So glad I did! These guys do great work at great prices. They were so compassionate, kind and 100% honest. Ken and the crew are gonna be my guys from here on out!

Love the guys at Schetters! Ken always hooks me up with the best deals. Been going there for years. My Aunt & Uncle told me about the place because they always took their cars there! He also sells cars, which they purchased many times!

We take both our family vehicles here and the service is always top notch. I feel that I can truly trust the mechanics. We have taken our vehicles to other local establishments and many times feel over charged as well as pressured to have unnecessary services. Schetters is fabulous.

Eventhough Ken has more work than he can handle he always takes great care of his customers and is the most honest mechanic I have ever worked with so you will never go wrong having them work on your vehicle. I just recommend making a appointment.

I've been a customer of Schetter Automotive for the last six years, and even though I moved out of Bay View I continue to return. Ken and company always fit me in and take care of business in a timely fashion. They answer all of my questions thoroughly and describe the car's ailments and what needs to be done to fix it in a no-nonsense manner. Pricing is super fair and I've always been happy with my service. I will always recommend Schetter's and will continue to have my cars serviced there.

I've taken my 2002 Buick LeSabre here twice. The first was a major corrosion issue that I had been quoted as a $1000 repair. Schetter's repair crew got it done for significantly less, and Ken gave me the impression that him and his team take pride in doing quality work. On the second occasion I had been told that my fuel line was leaking. Schetter's was able to get my car in and out on a single Saturday. It's been a lifesaver to have a very close mechanic that I can trust. This place appears to understand that honest quality work brings sustainable business. They don't cut corners and they communicate their work with honesty.

The great customer service and made sure I had the right place to go to get my tires fixed.
I recommend them to anyone who may need small or big repair. They treat you like family.

I am new to the area and have now found the mechanic I will go to every time as long as I live near MKE!!! They are so kind, great prices, and super fair! They will check over your car as a courtesy to you! I recommend them to everyone now! They told me they probably wouldn’t even do work on my old cars transmission as they felt it would be a bad and unfair deal for me. AWESOME!

If I could give 10 stars I would!! Ken and the team at Schetters are above and beyond amazing. I have a Nissan Cube 2010 that went through over a year and a half of stalling issues and had at least 7 trips to the Nissan dealership over that year and a half time span. Every single time I left the dealership it would break down the same way again!!! I paid over $3000 in fixes through Nissan that never fixed my problem. I came to visit a friend here in Milwaukee where my car broke down once more and she highly recommended Schetters from word of mouth. With Ken taking such extreme measures to do whatever he could to fix what hadn't been figured out yet he never gave up. And didnt just fix something to charge me that wasn't the problem... like Nissan kept doing. $350 later he found the issue and my car has been cruising the best it has ever been!!!!! Once I move to the area Ken and the team have a loyal customer for life and I will continue to spread the word of mouth for how phenomenal they are. Thank you gentlemen!! Til next time!!

Schetter's honesty has saved me thousands of dollars. The first time I used them was after a key had broken off inside my cars ignition during an attempted car theft. I first went to another local shop and without looking at the car they wanted to order a new steering column and replace all the locks on the car. Before agreeing to that I got a second opinion at Schetter's. They were able to extract the broken let from the ignition and I was back on the road without spending large amounts of unnecessary money. I've used them since and have never had a bad experience.

Schetters’s is the mechanic to go to when you want your car fixed right at a reasonable price. Over 7 years and 4 different cars and Ken has never steered me wrong.

Great auto shop. Owner and staff really in the business to help the customers . Gave excellent advice with what the car actually needed and what can wait. Owning a luxury german car not expensive with Schetter's on your side! I might buy a Volvo next time.

We drove to Wisconsin from Texas and needed an oil change. After looking at reviews for several shops in the area I decided to give this place a try. Service was quick, and extremely well priced. This will be my go to spot whenever I am in the area. There was a 1956 Buick Special, they were working on and it looked really cool.
