Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cincinnati Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

When we arrived we were greeting by the A-Team, two very friendly front desk women named Kasey and Marsha. These two immediately made us feel “home.” Their loving and positive energy made the first impression and everything followed from there. Our room was clean, our beds were new, and the energy of the place was great. The other front desk associates were also super awesome. It is the A-Team that takes that awesomeness to the highest level. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and had an outstanding experience. The customer support was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The amenities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable and convenient visit. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a superb place to stay!

Visiting family over Christmas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of tasty food (hot and cold) every morning, including Christmas. Fitness center was small but clean, well lit, with new/working treadmills, a bike, some weights and pulleys. Rooms were well laid out, comfortable beds and pillows, and bathrooms were spacious with sink area large enough for setting things down. Stayed w four people (two young adult children).

The hotel was clean and accommodating, and the staff was friendly! The breakfast was delicious, hot, and abundant despite the number of people staying. We felt safe and right at home. We have stayed at many Holiday inns through the years, and this was one surprisingly surpassed them all!

Free breakfast could be a little better. But it was alright

Loved it for what it is. Great view on the river. And was 30 mins from perfect. Served my purposes completely. Great breakfast. Get the omelette. You’ll thank me later

Great value at this location! Great breakfast, come rooms, everything felt clean, and the place felt busy and cared for. The front desk was always staffed with people who were happy and attentive, and the maids were super great! even during the busiest times the breakfast l/eating area was being kept clean and stocked.

Conveniently located, and the free breakfast was great. The fitness room was good too, with everything but the water cooler in working order. The room was clean and in two nights we heard almost nothing in terms of hall noise or other guests. Would definitely stay here again.

I usually do not take the time to give places reviews but this Hotel deserved it. The room we were given was not up to par (due to the previous person smoking in it)- when we told the staff there was no questions asked and we were upgraded to the best room they had for no extra charge, they even offered to move us! The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices every morning, maybe the best breakfast we ever had at a hotel. The staff was TOP NOTCH- everyone was friendly and looking to make the stay even better. One night we grabbed dinner out but forgot to get drinks, we went to buy drinks from the hotel lobby and the manager didn't even charge us for them. Even with the smokey room (not their fault) I would give my experience 5+++ Stars

The hotel was so friendly and I did have a larger suite with a separate living room that had a pull out couch and a bedroom with a king size bed.

Each member of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was attending an event after I checked out in the morning and they allowed me to keep my car there until I left late in the evening. When I returned in the evening to pick up my car I had the option of taking a complimentary coffee or tea for my drive home.

Staff was wonderful. Desk as well as breakfast staff. Enough room for our group of 16 to eat breakfast close together. The children in our group loved the pool. Enjoyed our stay. Does need some updates.

The only complaint I have is, I would've been way better off with a coffee pot vs a Keurig. Lol

Making a reservation and checking in was nice and easy. The parking lot is clean and seemed safe. Lobby and hallways are clean. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming our whole stay. Housekeeping is also very friendly and makes sure you have everything you need. Our room was awesome!! Seemed updated and well maintained. Everything was very clean!! Lots of storage space, king size bed, sofa/sofa bed, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer, Dove hand soap/lotion/shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers by bath sink and in the shower. Bed is comfy. Pillows are comfy, one soft and one firm, and it says it on the pillowcases. Charging port with outlets and usb ports on nightstand, ours didn't work, but it was there, lol. Tv had a lot of channels and also had some streaming apps like Netflix on it. A/C worked well. The shower was great!! Nice shower head and plenty of nice hot water. The pool and fitness center was nice and clean. Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel. Location was great, by the interstate and bridge over to Cincinnati, dining, gas. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy at first, but it's fine. Price was fairly good for what we got and compared to other hotels on the same street. We had a quiet stay. CONS: The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. Our charging port didn't work. Several of the power outlets are sketchy, things go on and off. We'll be back, and I definitely recommend 👌 👍

The room was very clean; the “high” bed was very comfortable once I was able to get up into it (lol) and the bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was typical. The hotel location was convenient. I’d stay there again.

Staff could not have been nicer! Check in and check out were a breeze. Our room was spacious, clean, and unexpectedly QUIET! We thought, for sure, being so close to a highway/bridge, and a big city we'd hear cars and loud people all night. We didn't hear a peep...not even from people coming back from a Reds game! Breakfast was great - lots of good selections: DIY pancakes, chobani yogurt, granola, 3 types of cold cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, warm cinnamon rolls, muffins, breads, and more....really something for everyone. There is a small grab-and-go case in the lobby for items you can purchase (soda, snacks, frozen heat & eat items, candy), which is convenient since there is nothing other than a liquor/cigarette store nearby. Be aware that parking signage behind the building (on the back wall) is confusing. It's hotel property but there are a couple signs that say it's a tow away zone for the adjacent business. We ended up moving our vehicle to another spot, after a hotel employee told us we couldn't park where we were, though it made no sense. Make sure to take a ride up the road to nearby Devou Park for a great Scenic view of the city!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Every employee was friendly, helpful and super sweet. We came into town for the weekend for the Kroger Wellness Festival. My son, who is neurodivergent, was so excited to tell the front desk what we did, what we saw and who we met. They were always excited to talk to him and they really were interested and engaging with him. As a mom of a special needs child, it made my heart happy that they cared. Marsha even lent us a Sharpie (but then I had it packed deep in the car and couldn't give it back) so my son could try and get John Cena to autograph his books. Thankfully the marker came in handy and John Cena signed his books. When we checked out, we talked to Marsha for a bit and my son mentioned a card behind the desk that was cute. Marsha gave him the card and the little figure that went with it. He was so happy and he will proudly display it in his room. Thanks again for all your hospitality and we already are planning to stay the weekend there next year for the festival. Breakfast was super delicious!!!!!

Great customer service there front desk people were so nice even gave me a free pop from the cooler the beds are like sleeping on a cloud and its extremely clean

Excellent hotel. We loved our room. The breakfast was good and the service was great! It was also in a good location and close to all of our destinations.

The staff here was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the room rate was reasonable. The hotel was a bit old, but it was well maintained. The water pressure in the bathrooms was amazing. The complimentary breakfast had many options available (healthy and not so healthy), and the cinnamon rolls were pretty good. I would definitely stay here again.
