A hidden gem!

After reading this place on a plethora of online forums and lists, I figured to give it a chance and it did not disappoint!

Walking in is a small eating space with 3-4 tables

Ordering has a simple menu with a variety of burgers and plain fries or seasoned

The Crave burger is unreal. Soft brioche bun perfectly complements the fresh burger. The aioli adds the perfect delicate and rich flavor. Overall juicy and mouth watering

The fries are crispy yet fluffy. A great pairing with their burgers

Service was very fast.

Parking can be tight in the lot but ample street parking

This is the BEST cheeseburger! I had the classic but there are variations that looked equally delicious. It was a hefty portion and a side of crispy fries made it worthy of a drive-in carhop legacy. (It smelled so good I almost forgot to take a photo....)
Not much in the way of ambiance, clearly a mostly take out place but we ate in at one of the three small tables wedged I'm between the doors and the counter. It actually seemed appropriate for the experience.
Service is fine. They are stretched a bit thin during busy times but it wasn't a long wait.
Loved it!

Pro tip, make it a double cheeseburger. On my personal three point scale, it was a 1.5/3. Elsa's is better IMO. However, super inexpensive and still very good. Good quick meal. Cheddar fries solid. I prefered the chicken sandwhich over the cheeseburger (probably because of the garlic aioli).

Who would have thought that the best burgers in Wisconsin would be tucked away in Shorewood. Truly one of the best burgers my husband and I have had in a while and reminded us of our favorite burgers in Washington DC area (Best Damn Burger).

If you’re looking to satisfy a burger craving I would not think twice to try this place. We drove up from Illinois and will gladly drive the one hour back when the craving hits again.

The burgers taste just as good as they look and are cooked to a perfect medium rare. The topping selections pair nicely and the fries are perfectly seasoned and super crispy.

We are already planning our next trip back.

Stopped here for lunch today right at noon. There was a line and all tables were full. Ordered the crave burger with a small fry and a coke, total was $17 after tip. I think it was a reasonable price for the area and quality of food.

The bun was perfect. Burger patty itself was a bit closer to med-well (I ordered med), slightly over seasoned and not quite as seared as I like it but the flavor was fantastic. Toppings were fresh and very tasty.

Fries seem homemade, the oil they use is good but mine were a bit underdone I think due to the rush. Perfectly salted.

Not many tables to sit at to enjoy the food but it is what it is. I ate in my car and saw a bunch more people go in while I was eating.

I'm excited to come back to try the soft shell crab blt and the Korean burger.

Can't go wrong with any of the burgers or fries to be honest. There consistency in the quality of their food is top tier.

It's a pretty small place with a crowded inside, so I recommend you getting it to go to eat outside or at your house. Not recommended for large parties. Its pricey for a burger but it's worth the price. It's that good.

Follow their Facebook page for the most up to date hours and status on opening or closing. They don't have an updated website or online ordering, because honestly their little cafe will be overwhelmed with the amount of orders. Best to go in person and order there.

my go to is a crave burger and small Cajun fries, washed down with a mandarin Jarritos.

Crave Cafe is exceptional! Delicious food every time and really chill atmosphere. Good-sized portions! Have zero complaints, 10/10. Would recommend to any burger lover in MKE

If you’re looking for a juicy burger to curb a craving and perfectly salted fries, look no further. This place is incredible and the prices are insanely reasonable for the quality of the food. Small sized fries are still a good-sized portion. See photo for context along with a picture of their signature Crave Burger.

If you’re someone who is hesitant about truffle oil like I am, don’t let that sway you from giving the Crave Burger a shot. It was just the right balance and not overpowering at all.

This place is absolutely great. The burgers are absolutely mouth-watering and the fries too! This place is not very popular but is a hidden gem! 5 stars!

Hands down my FAVORITE burger place in Milwaukee. The inside of the cafe is tiny, but I have never had a difficult time getting a table because there service is so fast. I can't count how many times I have ate here and they are consistent 100% of the time. The crave burger is my favorite and its always cooked perfectly, exactly how you want it. The combination of cheese caramelized onions, arugula and white truffle aioli is perfect. I love all the flavors of fries. The place is definitely a diamond in the rough.

Hands down the best burger in Shorewood.

I just moved to MKE and my friend said “they have the best burgers in town” i will definitely agree with that. I was super skeptical of getting the soft shell crab BLT but i was pleasantly surprised. Its a little sketchy and weird looking but dont let that put you off.

This place is currently in my top 5 burger places in Milwaukee. The burgers are amazing with some unique flavors and not overpriced! I’ve yet to be disappointed. So far I’ve tried the cheeseburger, hamburgeusa, and the Korean bbq and loved all of them.

This is one of the best burgers I've had at a restaurant along with very good fries. Excellent flavor. Very little dine in space, maybe 8-10 chairs. Some limited seating outside of the weather cooperates. Probably best for take out, but for us it would have been a half hour plus drive back home. Definitely worth the trip.

Great grocery prices! Has to be the best target I have been to in years I got a new shirt and of course looked amazing now I kinda wish I could eat a burger or some you know burgers but great store!

My boyfriend and I are from Green Bay area and were working nearby so we decided to grab dinner before we went home. I ordered the Portobella burger and my boyfriend ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger, both with side salads. The salad was nothing special, the lettuce was fresh and crispy but it was just a side salad. The sandwiches were awesome, very filling and well worth the price. I will definitely stop again when I'm in the area and definitely recommend this place to others. Their staff is also very polite.

First time here and had the Hamburguesa burger. Cooked just the way I like and they were very generous with the amount of jalapeños that was in the burger. The place is small so big group isn’t ideal but the price is reasonable for a good burger. My friend gave me some of his Ranch French Fries and they were good, not amazing just good. It’s an open kitchen so got to see inside and the place overall is very clean. Plus the cashier working there was kind/helpful in making the experience good. Overall, great place to grab a burger.

I absolutely love the burgers here. They are cooked perfectly. It is my go-to place for burgers. My favorites are the Korean burger and the crave burger. I also ordered the ranch fries and cheddar fries. Both were so different. Check this place out you won’t be disappointed.

Atmosphere is odd but honestly I've been looking for the best burgers in Milwaukee and this is by far one of my favorites. I've gone here a handful of times and it's never disappointed. They have really good 1000 island dressing as well. Recommend
