What a classy place! it was awesome! Farm to table food which I love supporting local farms!! The schnitzel was great and the German potato salad awesome! My date had the shrimp and grits and she said it was phenomenal! Then the dessert with the scoop or cookies and cream ice cream with espresso poured over the top was outta this world!! Thank you bistro off broad! Best first date ever

I ate here on 2 different evenings. Both times were simply wonderful. Ashley, Gene and the bartender were very friendly and attentive. I felt so relaxed while I was there as well. The food was AMAZING! I would definitely visit again if I’m in the area. It was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended! Thanks again!

Food was wonderful. Farm to table and we saw a local farmer dropping off some incredible produce while enjoying lunch. Alexis took care of us and she was fantastic.

Delicious! Very high end and it was pretty expensive but it's farm to table so all fresh and locally sourced ingredients. It was our Wedding Anniversary so we splurged and wanted to try something new than our usual date night place, which is Longhorns! Our server Gabriella was amazing! A great choice for a special occasion!

We went for lunch and enjoyed it immensely. Atmosphere was great, food was awesome and the service was perfect. We shared the chicken skins with Fresno sauce app which was great. My wife enjoyed the fish and chips entree and I had the steak frites. Everything was prepared and presented perfectly. My wife enjoyed a cocktail called "Love Spell" and I had a Classic City lager. Our server, Madison, was top notch! Always attentive yet not overly present. She knew the menu thoroughly answering all our questions as first timers and was able to make thoughtful recommendations. She was a delight. She brought my wife a complimentary crème brûlée for a birthday dessert. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience there.

Good food, friendly servers, and pretty interior! I had a lunch today with a friend who is leaving for a study abroad. Had a nice chat over yummy dishes, and it was a really pleasant experience! Was very happy with the chicken salad croissant and the side salad. I highly recommend the earl grey crème brûlée with a cup of coffee after your meal. I am pretty picky about my coffee, but the coffee I had today post lunch much exceeded what I had expected, to say the least!

Wow! I didn't expect a farm-to-table restaurant or five star dining! The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious! My husband got a Mediterranean sea bass cooked as a whole fish, with beets. This was the best fish I've ever tasted. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The seasonings were so well matched to each dish that they seemed made for each other. I got a pork chops dish that far exceeded my expectations in all but one way. It was from an Iberian wild boar, which is raised in north Georgia. The taste was incredible. As with the fish, the seasonings were perfect for the meat. It was a little tough to chew, I imagine because it's a wild type, and I didn't expect that. The taste was so good that I didn't mind, though. Regular pork chops definitely don't have that much flavor. Last but not least, they really listened about my drink. I enjoy dark, smooth, rich beer such as Dragon's Milk. They didn't have that or Innis & Gunn. Two of the waiters worked together to find the perfect beer. I now have a new favorite, Koko Buni Milk Porter by an Athens, Georgia brewery, Creature Comforts. One of the best restaurant experiences ever! You should try it! Save up for it, though. It's not cheap in any way.

came here and was so shocked by the prices. however, this is a great place for a date night or a girls night out. don't come unless you have a floating benjamin around. my good friend took me here when i turned 21 so that i can have my first drink. it was absolutely delicious. we had the drink "rosy cheeks." the food was divine too. loved the brie cheese platter. i recommend coming when they have their drinks at half price.

We had our Mothers 87th birthday party with family, and this place didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was good. Everything from drinks to appetizers to the main course was excellent. The desserts were great, along with the after dinner drinks. With a table of 13 we had a wide array of dishes and nobody complained.

We haven’t been to Bistro in over 2 years. Finally we were able to grab a reservation tonight. Our server, Hannah, was outstanding! The food was amazing just like last time. Executive Chef Alex was on point. Both my and my wife’s steaks were perfect. This place is amazing!

We love Bistro! Amazing food, incredible service, and great atmosphere! They use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and the chef is a Georgia Grown Executive Chef (a very distinguished honor). We love their delicious and affordable lunch options like the french onion soup and black bean burger (pictured below), their unique and delicious dinner options, and of course 1/2 priced apps during happy hour on Thursdays!
Bistro is definitely worth the drive to downtown Winder!

Probably one of my top 5 favorite restaurants from our road trips. The food was delicious. The fries are the best. We had the burger (no bun) and fish and chips. Atmosphere was friendly and a nice mix of rustic elegant decor. Great service as well.

We went for the Valentine's Weekend Special and it was Great! Awesome atmosphere and each employee we encountered was nice and accommodating! The food! Listen, I didn't know such fine dining was in Winder. Will definitely return for another date night!

I have a lot of dietary restrictions. It’s a huge bummer, especially for celebratory dinners out.
So, when my in-laws told us they wanted to us to go out for our shared anniversaries, I got nervous. I contacted the restaurant the week before and crossed my fingers.

I got a personal phone call from the executive chef, Alex Friedman. He saw my restrictions as an exciting challenge and promised me a beautiful meal full of stuff I hardly ever get to eat.

He served me !!PASTA!! and !!!FRIED!!! squash blossoms. I never get to eat pasta or anything fried. He visited our table several times to check on us and even made fresh rice flour tempura batter because he discovered cayenne in the batch he made for the kitchen.

I felt like a rock star, VIP, celebrity instead of an inconvenience or a bother.

It was a profoundly positive experience that I used to take for granted before my health turned.

My restrictions are so severe and there are so many that dining out isn’t fun for me anymore.

This was fun. Chef Alex made sure of it.

Can’t recommend the place highly enough. Please, go spend all your money there. Come on. Appetizers, dessert, AND wine, y’all. These folks deserve it.

We celebrated our 25th year anniversary last night. All of the staff that stop by our table wish us a happy anniversary. Our waitress Jacqueline was amazing. She made she we understood the menu items and made great food and drink recommendations. My only con would be my husband's steak could have been a little more rare. It was just off a little not enough to complain but it was still good.

Really love the style of this place on the inside. The service was good and the food was great. Delicious peach Bellinis were bottomless! A huge heap of fried with my southern croque (ma’am is with the egg). Everything was fantastic, I would recommend getting appetizers for sure. The mini muffins were also very good! You will leave full and satisfied with these farm to table flavors!

After a wonderful date-night dinner, we asked about hosting our rehearsal dinner at Bistro. Eduardo talked to us and showed us the Lobby space, which is used for private events at night. We ended up reserving a private event for our rehearsal dinner and it turned out beautifully! The food was AMAZING, the Lobby space was decorated very nicely by their team, and the service was excellent. 10/10 would recommend for a quick cocktail, date night, or private event!

Comparable to Gordon Ramsay’s recipes! I can’t believe this gem is in Winder! I recommend making a reservation and asking for a window seat or a seat by the twinkle lights.

Amazing is an understatement! The Bread Appetizer served with whipped honey butter was fantastic! I wish they could sell that by the pound! We had the Beef Short Rib for our main dish and it was so tender with the perfect amount of flavor! The best short rib I personally have ever tasted! Great wine selection as well and the service was amazing starting with our server, the manager and even the head chef came to see how we enjoyed our meal. Just an amazing experience overall. I think we may have found our new date night spot!
