La Hacienda Mexican Grill

So many stars!! We loved the authentic menu. They weren’t very busy for a Friday night. The salsa and been dip were a wonderfully filling starter. The margaritas were fantastic...on the rocks or frozen. They had fun flavors: peach, passion fruit, blackberry. Tasty tortillas and great looking desserts...but we were stuffed. Cheers 🍻

What an amazing first experience! We ordered tacos, burrito, chips & salsa. The lingua tacos were flavorful, twice cooked (unusually difficult to find well done lingua!) The carnitas and pastor were well seasoned, balanced and flavorful. A filling medium taco size, not just tiny street tacos. The salsa is flavorful with a slightly sweet heat. Even the “to go” margarita was great! We can’t wait ti visit again and enjoy the quaint decor. The restaurant was very clean, including well maintained bathrooms. Thank you to the friendly staff, keep up the great work!

Hubby and I had a lovely time and a fantastic meal at La Hacienda today! We like to visit Grants Pass to go to their fancy kitchen store and often we head towards Medford to get food but today we stopped at La Hacienda and we were very glad we did. It wasn't very busy which can sometimes make a person feel like they've gone to the wrong spot but nope... This was the right spot. Corn chips were fresh and just salty enough and they came with warm refried beans and a delicious salsa (maybe slightly thin even for a cooked salsa) but very tasty. We both had fajitas: one chicken and one steak. I know fajitas can seem like a gimmick but they are such a delicious treat and not something we make at home (unlike tacos and burritos) and they can be done wrong! But not here. These fajitas were delicious! The meat and veggies were in just the right size of chunks and all of it well seasoned and perfectly prepared. Good quality flour tortillas, good rice and beans, a healthy scoop of guac and our server asked us if we wanted extra spicy salsa and we got not one, but two delicious salsas to complement the meal. These fajitas were also not overpriced and not too much food. At 15.99 a plate it was actually less than we've paid at other places but still an ample serving. Honestly places can go over the top with the fajitas, oversized platters of impossible to finish portions for 30 bucks..and this wasn't that thankfully. A really perfect amount of food for a reasonable price and we still had leftovers. It was our first visit and we'll be back. Thanks to everyone who helped make our meal so pleasant today!

Delicious Mexican food and mouth watering Micheladas in a gorgeous setting with most beautiful murals painted all over the walls. The staff is very concerned for the guests satisfaction down to every little detail. Highly recommend this little gem⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As someone who lived in Los Angeles for 10 years this is some of the best Mexican food in Grants Pass. If you want something that has legit flavors and options, this is spot.

This was the first time my partner ate here. She had the chili Verde. She said it was better than what she makes. Very good place to eat.

Passing through town and decided to stop here for lunch, service was outstanding and the food was amazing. The menudo and fajitas are top-notch, and it's nice to have both salsa and beans to dip your chips in. This is a do not miss spot in Grants Pass, a wonderful family run make you feel at home restaurant.

Got there shortly before closing time and they served us hungry travelers dinner graciously and tried their best not to hurry us at all.
And the food was delicious. My sister had the Chile Relleño Burrito, and said it was some of the best Mexican food she's ever had (and she has lived in Albuquerque for eons). I had the Chicken Mole Burrito - some the best mole I've had.
And the margarita was good, and large.
Can't recommend it more.

Seated quickly, great service. Server was very friendly, helpful, and quick. Had the torte Classico and deluxe Burrito. Both very generous size and very tasty. Had the nieve frita (fried ice cream) for dessert..Wow, that was fantastic!
Update - Went back and ordered just dessert. Fried ice cream and the fried banana. Fried banana was very good, but note that the menu says covered with strawberry jam and there was none, but it did come with ice cream so maybe just a change in ingredients.
First visit was definitely a 5 star.

For ten years as a taco lover in grants pass, I've felt like a dying man crawling through the desert looking for a decent taco. But this is Grants Pass. The Taco's they make, after one bite into the traditionally crafted Llengua masterpiece, transported me through time to my childhood while visiting the deepest backwaters of Mexico; a place that served tacos as good as the ones here at La Hacienda in Grants Pass Oregon by equally as decent folks. Its not just the tacos though. The talented saucier, at the head of their culinary staff is probably one of the finest in the world. Their sauces are the absolute best tasting traditional flavors i have ever experienced north of latitude 19. I have eaten many dishes from here, Everything will blow your mind. Do yourself a favor and eat here at least once in your life so you can know what great Mexican food really tastes like.

Mexican cuisine, affordable family dining, comfortable welcoming embrace, relaxing, peacefully calm aura... amazingly unique flavors at a family friendly pace? La Hacienda on 6th St Grants Pass Oregon, look no further... everyone will be pleased! More to come... I plan on visiting this place DAILY! I LOVE IT!

My favorite restaurant hands down. Guaranteed to be delicious. I always feel that, if the salsa is good then the meal is going to be good. I was right about that here the salsa and beans were Delicious. I went wanting a seafood chimichanga and left having the best one I've ever tasted. I even brought my family in later and my husband said the same. Even the next day we all ate all of our leftovers and that includes three kids which are not always easy to please. The servers were wonderful and the atmosphere was relaxing. I found my new Happy spot and would definitely recommend to anybody who is hungry. If you ever can't decide where to go out to eat. Go to La Hacienda Mexican Grill cuz it will always be good. Gotta try the Strawberry Horchata. Yummy

Open under different ownership, this favorite Mexican restaurant does "street tacos" much as I remember them in Mexico. Pacifico was the "best beer" on hand, and it was in bottles. The tacos did well enough to make this "everyday normal beer" seem special. The chef appreciates feedback, and the whole staff like the dinning experience to be just what you, as the customer want. Overall five stars it is for this Sixth Street quiet location. Come if you are hungry and want to enjoy eating together!
