Chinook County Park

Nice little park, fairly clean, good place to drop in on the river.

Nice clean little park. Great for those who are looking for a great spot to start their Rogue River float. Parking seems secure as its in nice neighborhood.

Note: there is a $5 fee to park here. We would never have visited this park, except during a road trip a few months ago our daughter noticed a Pokemon go gym in the distance. Its name was Wendell Winterbottom Memorial Boat Ramp.
My wife and I had an opportunity to visit Southern Oregon again recently, and so we sought to find this memorable location. Thanks to Google Maps, I located the Winterbottom Riffle in the Rogue River. Once we found that, we found the boat ramp. We enjoyed a short time here, spun the gym, battled it, and then headed on our way home.

Was a bit smokey here in southern oregon but was an excellent day for a rafting trip.

Best place to drop in a and take a short raft to baker or riverside. Watch out for the first little rapids. There's a whirlpool at the end of it, hug the right bank if you can

Put in for a mellow river float through Grants Pass. We took out at Schroeder Park and had an awesome 3 hour float!!!

Somebody already came and ate the good blackberries, not worth dinging a star, but I wanted to complain, just a little bit. A beautiful park, a nice walk, a boat ramp, good place to put in for a short jaunt across town

Beautiful river park right down the way from home. Has a great "sand bar" and sandy beach area a little up river that my kids just love.

Pay a fee. Parking available. Dogs allowed. Its small but lovely to stop by off the highway. Real quiet.

Is a small but very nice park with a boat ramp.

Great place to get your feet wet and launch your watercraft.Not a good swimming spot due to the swift current.

Great place to sit back and relax also if your a Pokemon go player there is a gym and two pokestops at this park

There's so many little spots to enjoy the day. Its always clean.
