Schramka has taken very good care of our family after the passing of our mom. My parents purchased a cremation package over 20 years ago from a service that Schramka took over. They honored that agreement. They helped us navigate through all of the things you have to do after a death eventhough we weren't going to use them for the funeral.

Unfortunately, the funeral service we were going to use was very cold and not helpful. So we called Schramka and ended up going with them. Again, they have been extremely helpful with all of the arrangements. Our mom's visitation and service will be at our church and they will be there every step of the way.

We are working with Amanda and she has been super kind, helpful, and always available to answer our many questions. They check in almost every day since the funeral is a month away. I have talked to 5 different people and all of them have been kind and helpful.

I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend Schramka to anyone who asks.

From the moment I started preparing for my Dad’s death until I received his ashes Schramka Funeral Home far exceeded my expectations. Living in AZ and having my Dad in WI could have made handling his passing difficult. When I needed to understand my Dad’s cremation policy they were there to provide me with all the info. When I needed them to hold onto my Dad’s cremation box before he passed, they willingly held onto it for a month or more. Not knowing the process can take a week or two I asked if I could get his remains and death certificate quickly. Schramka made it happen. But more than all this—Schramka, especially Amanda K. was so kind and caring, patience and respectful. Amanda also far exceeded my expectations with the obit. She picked up on my Dad’s love of golf. Amanda basically did everything for me, again with such care, kindness, patient and compassion.

Schramka was very nice to us when my sister passed away. They picked her up from hospice in an hour and she looked lovely when all ready fr viewing. They let my dogs come to say goodbye to her during family time and they took care in flying her back home to Arkansas to be buried. I was happy with their services.

Everyone was so nice here. Amanda was my contact person and she was wonderful. It was for my husband who passed suddenly on Jan. We had a Packer wake as my husband Pat was a very big Packer fan. Sooo many people showed up and they were right on top of it taking care of everything. They made it feel like they were part of our family. It was very hard as Pat was only 64. They made it easy as could be. They also have checked on me and my family. It’s been just about 6 mos now it’s still very difficult but they took time to check how we were doing. I would recommend them to anyone. They took such care when they picked Pat up to take him to the medical examiner. Waited till she was done then took him to Schramka. They took one of the worst days in my life and made it a little easier for me and the kids. So caring and yet very professional . I am planning on having my stuff there when my time comes.

My dad passed away fairly unexpectedly the day after Father's day. My uncle had passed last year and my cousin recommended Schramka. We met with Amanda King the day after my dad died and organized the details of his service. I had mentioned a few details about my dad and his hobbies/passions and Schramka went above and beyond anything I could've ever dreamed. People kept coming up to me commenting about how much they loved all the little (and big) details that were absolutely perfect for my dad; I had to tell them that it wasn't me- Schramka had done ALL of that. They were shocked. It was so much my father that it couldn't have been MORE my dad even if he had walked through the front door. I can't recommend Schramka enough. They helped a daughter say goodbye to her father in the most perfect way possible, and for that I will be eternally grateful to Amanda and the team at Schramka.

This was my second time in less than one year that I had to reach out and make immediate family funeral arrangements. Pete was so compassionate and empathetic during each time. I also worked with Shelly the second time for casket selection and she was so happy to email me the options I could choose from.
