H. W. Longfellow School

Went to school at Longfellow back in 1968 when they were tearing down houses on 20th to make the playground bigger, I watched it from my kindergarten classroom as I played in the sandbox near the window. I remember my teacher, she was a German woman, very strict. Sure like to get some class photo's from that year. By the way, what did they use the 4th floor for back than?

My three boys you to that school. We like it so much. The teachers are very nice there.

First year for my daughter. Really nice teacher she has and she love coming to school. Teacher is always communicated with every that happens.

It's ok but the substitutes are retarted and this school doesn't have a.c. but the regular teachers are fun and amazing I'm in 7th grade and its pretty fun

MPS school, teachers are hit or miss, nothing special about this school.

My kids assisted this school for this past year, bus always leave them behind with out the school doing anything about it. There's always a problem with staff and teachers. My kids have perfect attendance and good grades. I try contacting the school many times but got no help. Today I spoke with the secretary and told her I was calling school districts and she said "I don't care go ahead" but I called them a numerous time and no fix. Please parents be very careful if you send you kids to this school. Another problem we have is the bullies my kids got bully a bunch of time and every time I call is either an excuse or the will talk to the kid but it never works.
PARENTS YOU WANT A SAFE PLACE FOR YOUR KIDS TO GO TO SCHOOL AND A PLACE WHERE THEY WOULD LIKE TO GO BACK.
NOT THIS SCHOOL.

This school!! I have s son who is being bullied by a girl that has at least a foot on him. My son was asked what he did. Apparently a look from my son warrants a 13 year old calling his mom a fat a$$. Or laughing that his father lost his job and now he's going to be homeless. My son has diagnosed social aniexty. Yes it's plausible that he asked for it right? Don't send your daughters to this school wearing shorts or skirts. Anybody can sexually harasse them. Remember they asked for it.
Today this bully told my son to kill himself. Then walked by me and started screaming that she was going to call her mom. I walked up to her ave said to go ahead. I grabbed my kids and went in the school. Where I was asked what did I want them to do? Again asked what my son did. I told them I was calling the school board. I was told they would say the same thing. Cops were called. I went home thinking the cops would come to my house. Nope. They called me but sat and listened to the bully and her mom. Who wasn't there!! Now I'm being accused of child abuse because of how I walked towards the girl!! I was asked to go to mediation about my walking towards the girl. Not the constant bullying! I'm not doing it. I just want this girl to stop picking fights with my kid! Did I mention this is the 3rd time we have gone to the principal? This bully has done this to other kids.
Thanks Longfellow for having my kids back too!! Not! Or the officer that couldn't even come up my house to talk to me. But could accuse me of child abuse over the phone.
If God forbid my son tried to kill himself. Their conscience will be clear!! Since I walked aggressively! Take note of the picture that's associated with the school! The pedophile principal that just got 7 years in jail. The school let the parents find out about it on Facebook !

i hate this school the teachers are terrible at thair job some are good i hate all the kids in that school
