Master Painting

Him and his crew painted the inside and outside of my house and did an amazing job!!! They're very professional and super fun to be around, they would help me and listen to all of my requests. I would totally recommend them to anyone that needs painting done and wants a fair price.

Great work

My wife and I were in a pinch to get the interior painted on our new house (Dec 2012) and Dan was able to fit us in. His crew did an excellent job on the paint, they were very curtious and professional, and the work was done on time. His estimate was a bit high at first, but he come down to what we agreed was a reasonable amount.

There was a "miscommunication" about the paint scheme that was easily remedied, but I ended up paying for half the cost of a gallon of paint after he miscalculated the amount of paint needed. In hindsight I should have made him stick to his estimate, but I wasn't willing to argue over $11.00.

My only negative comment is that Dan should spend a little time at the work site. He wasn't even there to collect his final payment. As the boss, I feel he should have been more involved in the work I was paying HIS company to do.

I can only give him a "Very Good" rating because we had asked him to caulk all the baseboards and he only did half. He explained (after the painting was done) that he couldn't match the color in the kitchen, I feel he should have known this and explained it beforehand. We also had to call him back (which he did with no hesitation) to touch up the stairway. This is something (again) that I think he would have caught if he had been on-site a little more.

Overall I would hire him again, but I would be more diligent in making sure he honors his estimate.

This guy was probably once a decent contractor who must be hustling from one job to the next. Note that his business "Master Painting" was dissolved in late 2017 after a lawsuit against him. His employees do poor work and he has no problem trying to hustle elderly people into paying more than he's owed, threatening liens. Look elsewhere. If could give negative stars I would. Total piece.

Never showed up for appointment to clean the gutters. Never called or returned any of my calls. Dan places ad in paper every week but doesn't seem to really want the job. Gave him the benefit of the doubt that there was an emergency but when my calls were ignored I realized he has a poor business ethic.
