Holy Sepulcher Cemetery

While many people have made complaints, I feel it’s their lack of communication that leads to these biased “reviews”. As someone who has several generations of family buried here, I feel like I must attest to the fact that there’s not ONE but TWO signs stating the rules of this cemetery located at both the North-East and South entrances/exist. Not only that but each mausoleum door has the hours stated on them as does the office too. The office also has a chain stating the hours and a contact number, which is also located on the main office door (to the south) for convenience.

So, outside of the lack of reading comprehension, I also must bring attention to the fact that this cemetery is loaded with ash-bore beetle afflicted trees, thus it’s quite glaring obvious they’re being removed and worked on. Some of these trees are quite old too, which would make it obvious as to why some roots are above ground.

Thirdly, it appears to be over 50 acres to be mowed and weed eated. Take into account I’ve seen only, like, 4 guys on the grounds… and it seems like the park can’t be done in one day for how much there is.

Finally, nothing can be done by the staff if they’re not made aware of it. Instead of bashing the place, go and call the office or drop in and alert them maybe?

Because, honestly, I’ve had nothing but good to say about this place—my relatives’ stones and crypts are always clean and take care of. I’ve had nothing go missing outside of wind damage or blowing away some cheap decorations, and that’s not taking into account damage caused by animals.

I’m going say ten-out-of-ten for the staff at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. They’re at least trying, which is something that can’t be said for a lot of the cemeteries out there.

Let's show some respect for where Da Crusher is laid to rest, guys. Do better, stop whining.

The grounds are well cleaned and beautiful, looks better than all other cemetaries.

Going off of my own experiences, the place looks beautiful, and the staff that maintains it are nice and understanding.

Both of my father's sisters and their husbands reside here. One from South Milwaukee; the other from Greendale.

The proprietor was very accommodative despite heavy work load.

Have to chime in. The grounds are not in good shape. This cemetery doesn’t revolve around a former wrestler. Finally last week a stretch of road is starting to be replaced. Took years.
Went to visit on Father’s Day. No water to use.
Branches everywhere. Roads are bad. So many veterans that didn’t get a flag. Graves from last year STILL with no sod on top.
Cmon, you can do better. TRYING isn’t good enough. These are my family members that lie here. The trees (many) have been rotting BEFORE the insect issue.

We are thrilled you’re finally repairing the road by replacing. What I am saying is this is a long time coming. Most of the roads need repair.
Water main break? Please put updates on your Facebook page. It’s not easy for all of us to come with buckets of water in our car.
Use your Facebook page more often, for updates and dialog. Start looking at the graves with no sod. They’re all around, and the dates on the headstones are from last year. Winter is done. Let’s get the perpetual care we are supposed to be getting. Let’s get ALL VETERANS to receive a flag.

I had to dig out the grass covering 3 of my relatives resting areas. Very poorly maintained.

I will not give them any stars. My grandson was buried well over 2years ago and they still have not made his head stone. The proof was approved and asked for 30 days. well that has long come and gone. They do not return calls, emails or texts once they get their money. They then tell you the money you paid is not what it was intended for. NOW they removed the CUSTOM marker off his grave that there was an agreement that it would be returned to the family once the head stone was placed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all. We are taking further action at this point.

My grandparents were laid to rest here and it has been an absolute horrible experience. Everytime we buy something to put on their grave, or infront of it the items go missing. We planted my grandmas favorite plant there and now the plant is gone. Funny how all the other stones have plants, solar lights, and decorations. It always seems to be theirs that things go missing or should I stay "stolen" from. Its absolutely so sickening and I will not reccomend this place to anyone.
