Orta Restaurant

Went in for late night drinks and desserts. Staff is Fantastic. Foods even better. Prices are reasonable

They were so gracious and accommodating. I love our waitress, Patti. She was amazing. We had someone in our party that was vegan and they went above and beyond to prepare a wonderful meal for them. The restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. I only wish we lived closer to become regulars.

Was there last night (VALENTINE'S Day). We had a reservation so really no wait. Food was delicious I had mussels on a saffron broth wow. Then I had seared tuna with sticky rice and baby bock choy, everything was cooked to perfection.The service was great, the atmosphere perfect for an intimate dinner. Would definitely recommend. Next time it will be pizza.

We love fine dining and don't often venture into Boston any longer. What a joy to have Orta so close to us! We are never disappointed by any aspect of our visit. We can choose to dine--linger over our drinks--or come in for a relaxing but brief stay. The food is ALWAYS superb and the service typically excellent. We visited again last night and nothing has changed. The owner/bartender mixes an incredible drink and clearly takes pride in everything delivered to each table. I have no idea why this establishment isn't better known, but we will always make it the destination for a special night out!

Went to Orta on Saturday night. Ordered the chilled tuna and sweet corn soup for appetizers. Excellent! Had the seared scallops and chicken and broccoli alfredo. Excellent! Shared the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Excellent! Great service as well.

Everything was delicious. All 9 of us ordered different dishes and no one had any complaints. We all agreed that you could taste that everything was scratch made there and that made all the difference. Plus our server was so nice. Definitely planning on return visits.

Orta is always a great spot for date night. We went lastnight and while there was a wait, they made it easy for us to get a couple drinks at the bar, which were then transferred to our table. We got a table in about 40 minutes and once we got there (walk ins on a saturday night) service was wonderful alongside absolutely delicious appetizers and entrees. While we were waiting, we were told seats were available at the bar and I simply said we would rather a table as it is our anniversary, and I think it was the manager who I was talking to, but we were treated to champagne and dessert on them, which was extremely nice. Highly recommend and will definitely return as we have many times.

Amazing food!!!!! Love the desserts! Especially the creme brule!!

I love this restaurant! My waitress was super nice! I got the chicken Parmesan and it tastes like what you would get at the north end. My dad got fish and chips and said it was excellent! Highly recommend.

I came tonight for dinner very pregnant and dying of excitement for chicken parm, much to my dismay it wasn't on the menu, so I told the waitress that I wanted to pay for my drink and we had to leave (I wasn't upset of course but I NEEDED chicken parm) so she went out of her way to ask the chef to make it for me. I was served the most delicious chicken parm I've ever had, and had such an amazing experience. Pleasant, accommodating staff. Authentic Italian cuisine, and a beautiful atmosphere to boot. Definitely one of our favorite date night spots!

My wife and I ordered the eggplant app and it was perfectly cooked, the entrees also perfect: I ordered the house pasta with duck confit and simply fantastic: my wife had the short rib. We split the dessert of the Maple Creme brulee and I could of eaten 3 of them. On top of the marvelous food the service was even better, Hayley was perfect server.

For those who say it's "overpriced" or "lousy" you must have a boring pallet, so I suggest stick to your dive bar restaurants or olive garden. Orta competes with overpriced establishments in the north end, absolutely will be going back again.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Great place to celebrate a special occasion, or just a regular night out! I also greatly appreciated their attention to detail with a food allergy in our party.

I've dined at Orta twice and was very pleased each time. The last time I had the fried eggplant with whipped goat cheese as starter. It was to die for. They do unique things there that are rare for the south shore. Some of the other reviewers can go back to their corned beef and cabbage -Orta is a keeper for the rest of us.

Another amazing meal at Orta! The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I am always thrilled with everything from the interesting cocktails to the yummy desserts! This is my go to restaurant on the south shore!

Incredibly helpful staff, who noticed that although we had no reservation on a Saturday night (who knew Pembroke was such a busy suburb and Orta's such a happening place?!), we had a special occasion to celebrate. They made it happen, and "it" was delicious!

My husband and I went for the first time and loved it so much I’m going back for my birthday. Everyone was so nice. Food and atmosphere was great! Lava cake heavenly!

Orta is fabulous! Not only is the front of the house kind and accommodating, the owners are awesome and the food is the best in the area! Their menu tickles the fancy of those picky eaters as well as those with a more advanced palate and it is ever changing to keep their clientele coming back to try something new!
