Liberty Heights Park

It’s a nice and welcoming environment for people who want to play, rest or walk/run. It has a nice, open baseball field that’s good for playing catch and things like that. Also has one and a half very nice basketball courts next to a rather small new playground and an area with a few skating props (that nobody seems to use for some reason), but there are no ramps or anything like that. Unfortunately If you want to use the bathroom you’ll have to go down to Walgreens or the gas station. Overall it’s a nice place to go if you want to stop by.

Friendly neighborhood park close to Walgreens and hidden from traffic. Small pool and nice basketball courts as well as the playground equipment and baseball field.

This park is amazing. It's a small park but the playground spaces were extremely nice. The playground was huge and really well maintained. There was even a splash pad that wasn't open but looked clean and well kept. It was a hidden little gem we definitely want to come back and play longer!

Wonderful and fun park to take your children there's swings and slides & jungle gyms for all ages the only thing that I would recommend is having a restroom for kids and adults to use when they're here visiting. There used to be a port o potty but it's not here anymore:( going to have to cut our play time short unfortunately

Cute little kiddie pool with one of those water flowers and some geysers for the kids to play in. Free admission and 10-4 hours. There's an area for toddlers to play as well as a playground for bigger kids, a basketball court and a little Pavillion for picnics. There are indoor restrooms, though I hadn't gone inside, I just know there's an indoor facility where the restrooms are, right outside the pool area.

Love the area. Also love the tennis area. They did not have lights on the tennis area. But they put some up and I can play all night if I would like 👍👍👍💕💕💕

Good variety of equipment for all ages. Skate park area, basketball courts, baseball, tennis. Kids always enjoy it here.

Liberty Heights, also known as Washington Park from years ago, has been a playground that I grew up enjoying as a child! The playground itself is newly updated with extremely engaging and age-appropriate equipment for children of all ages! The pool is one of the main features here which is free! All the children seem to truly enjoy this pool! Even though the pool is for younger age children, there still are plenty of things for teenage children to do! The Highlight for a teenager would be the basketball courts! On a daily basis there are quite a few kids playing basketball on the four basketball courts open and available. There also are tennis courts and a baseball field for those who are not into playing basketball as much! Finally, the recreation department has a building which provides not only restrooms and shelter, but daily activities for all age ranges of children! Inside the field house, there's a little store that kids can purchase drinks, popsicles, and other snacks for when they need a break! And for parents, there's a beautiful gazebo with plenty of picnic benches for the parents to sit and relax while watching their children play! This definitely is a park that the whole family can enjoy with such a large variety of activities throughout the entire day! If you have not been there, I highly recommend you try it out!

Great park, really happy we found it. Play area for the kids right next to the basketball courts which is great and the playground itself looks so fun. At night the lights come on which was awesome, and on the other side there are tennis courts and across that is a baseball Dimond that we used to play kickball and with parking all around the park it was a great find.

So quiet and peaceful during the day. They have a kiddie pool and jungle gym available. Basketball and tennis court are also available.

I was able to spend the day with my family in peace and the police dept makes random visits to check up on the activity in the park so you dont have to worry when it comes to safety. Activities that are available include tennis courts, skateboarding course basketball court, baseball field and playground as well as a gazebo with picnic tables for Birthday parties or get togethers.

This is a park my sisters and I went to as young children.. it was great to visit and be able to cool off a bit. Great playground, great atmosphere.

Love this park. Huge, with so many things to do! My children played to the point of exhaustion, and still were upset to leave.

This is a very nice very fun park the school across from it goes to it often so if you want to go to play with kids go before 330 in the summer

Nice park alot for kids to do. I took my dog there and walked with her and love it.
