Treasure Island Academy - The Journey

My son started over 4 years ago. They really do there best with picking great teachers and teaching the children. I love the range of aging for the teacher as well. My children and I feel safe under their care.

Tia the journey is An amazing place, if your looking for affordable child care that also accepts subsidies this is the best place to go. My daughter went here a few years ago and is now returning, Christina (the owner) made me feel so welcomed inviting me back. I love how easy the application process was & response times. My children were able to start within a week. With a new addition to my family and looking for a daycare for my son I knew exactly where to go. Tia the journey is very clean, staff is professional and nice. Beautifully renovated. They treat each child with the love they specifically need. I feel so comfortable knowing my children are in the best care. I strongly recommend checking out this place.

My experience with TIA, the staff and especially Ms. Naila & Ms. Christina are nothing short of amazing. They actually consider our children as their own while under their care which is also great feeling for us moms. They help accommodate each and every child and parent to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I am proud to say that my daughter just turned two today and her class is having a little party for her which is adorable and
she has made so much progress just from September until today. She counts to 10 she sings whole songs they evaluate her academically and update me through the app to let me know about her motor and language skills. Also they let me know when she’s changed, fed, if and what she ate or not and pictures through out the day. The program is actually affordable especially givin the care that our kids are givin for a great price. The program offers many things and ages 6 weeks old up until 12 years old, summer camp, class parties, so many arts and crafts that are educational, book fairs and many other things including subsidized care, potty training, bilingual language, and transportation for children older that live In the upper Darby school district:
I can go on and on about how I’m blessed to have put my daughter in a safe and loving environment especially during a pandemic. I have one on the way that I will be sending to TIA as well, because my children are in great hands and learning so much. So happy to be apart of TIA and proud to say my daughter is part of their facility as well.
Last but not least, if you need to contact a staff member during open hours or even closed hours for any reason, Ms Naila and Christina will get back to you within minutes.

I can’t express enough how much I love this center. Their communication is top tier! I always know what’s going on. I can honestly say my 4 year old actually learns here. Ms. Naila is so amazing! Always professional and transparent about everything. Very attentive to the children. She knows when my kids aren’t being themselves. Ms. Christina is lovely, always professional and understanding. I feel very much at ease when my children are at the center.

Great daycare with a great staff. My daughter has been there for a little over a year now and they're constantly making improvements and are great at taking and implementing feedback. My little one has made close friends there and I wouldn't think of taking her anywhere else. You can't replace the family feel this facility offers.

Where can I start. This is the second daycare my son has been in and the first for my baby girl. I was very skeptical about daycare for them all together. TIA the Journey has made this such a great experience not just for me but the children also. From being greeted with such positivity in the morning to the teachers calling to see why the babies are not there. I can honestly say that it’s more than just a job for them. Even down to the curriculum that’s being taught to the preschoolers, and the different activities with my 1 year old.. Such an amazing place!!! Keep up the good work guys!!!

I have a two year old baby girl, and I was very scared to put her in daycare. But Christina the owner, Naila and Mrs. Nelly shut down all my fears. Christina will answer all my questions no matter if she is at work or home or even if its later in the day. If my daughter needs to miss a day she will contact me just to check in on her. Christina has only hired the best. I was unable to meet her teacher Mrs. Nelly in person but my daughter is Learning a lot from her. Naila is amazing, I see her at pick up and drop off. She dealt with me calling the center a bunch of times when my daughter first started. She will also still give me updates and let me know if she is having a bad day. Normally if children are being overly fussy they get sent home. But between the three of them they help her get back to her playful self. If I could if more then 5 stars I would. This is by far the best daycare I could ask for, its like a family. They truly care about the keys.

After having a really hard time with my sons last daycare I became hesitant to have him in another daycare. I have to say however enrolling him in this preschool has been the best decision for him. They have helped him with learning a lot of new things. His communication has improved so much. I would absolutely tell any parent especially new parents who are hesitant this school is amazing.

My son enrolled at TIA The Journey a year ago and we could not be more happier with our decision. When we first transferred to this preschool it was ruff for my son to adjust due to the fact that he was at his previous daycare since an infant. Ms.Christina was such a God send to us by making sure my son felt comfortable in all aspects with his transition and made us feel right at home as well as other staff members including Ms.Nyla, Ms.Suheer, and the new Coordinator Ms.Sarah. This preschool is big on preparing the children for the next step in education and that’s what I love so much about them. They have a curriculum called “Mother Goose” which introduces learning in a fun interactive way to get the children excited about education.They have 3 centers in Delaware County in which you could send your child to and no matter which one you choose your child will be treated with love and compassion.

When my son started go to that place first day of daycare last November 7th I love that place and they doing good treat to my son and when I drop him off and he happy see them he loves there a lot

I love this school and my baby does too. The staff treats the children as their own. They are caring and very nurturing. The security is A+. No complaints from me.

We love this place. The staff is courteous and professional, the Director is great to work with. And the kids just have a great time With all the pirate paraphernalia. They never want to leave.

Overall great place to send your kids if you want them to actually learn and be happy, cared for and safe my two girls go here and they learn so much and be so happy to see their teacher each morning director is great and understanding and always there to help even if it’s personal needs I picked the perfect day are for my girls cause it’s just not a job to them they form a family and a personal bond with both children and parents

Love this place friendly and caring staff teachers and directors that goes all out for the children and parents kids love the staff and enjoy going to school
