What makes the Starr group great? Their team members.. When I call, and I do too often. I get a very kind, helpful, yes I can person on the other end of the phone. I don't think I have ever called and talked to any team member that they were just so so. I have had other ins. agencies handle my accounts over the years but I have gladly moved all my accounts to the stellar Starr team.

My husband and I could not be more happy with Starr Group and our insurance company, Western National. Our agent is Mary Kurth, she is a true gem at Starr, as is the staff we have communicated with at times when Mary was unavailable. Mary and her fellow agents have always responded in a timely manner, have integrity, and give empathy toward our concerns when it comes to claims, and needs for all of our insurance inquiries. The customer service is superior and we highly recommend them to entrust all of your insurance needs.

Changing insurance companies is never exciting. Working with Kelly, made the process so much easier. She was knowledgeable, professional and able to find me better coverage at a significant savings!! I am looking forward to a long relationship.

We recently moved from Iowa to the Milwaukee area. After having difficulty with finding a competent local representative from our previous home/auto insurance company, we were referred to the Starr group. They review rates from a number of highly rated insurance companies and find the best rates and the best coverage. Marco was a pleasure to work with as he advised us on the differences in coverage from what we had back in Iowa and where we needed to tweak our coverage to make sure we were adequately covered in Wisconsin. He was able to find us a company that provided more coverage for both home and auto, but got cheaper than the other quote we had. He made the transition very easy and quick, and made sure we had a smooth closing process on our new house. I would recommend anyone in need of new insurance to chat with Marco.

Im not sure the other reviewer has the right agency because Starr has never called us on a marketing basis! I dont think they do that because they are not an insurance co - they are a group that helps people with all types of insurance needs and managing those needs together. We have been with the Starr group for many many years and have had a great relationship with them! You dont have to talk to someone dif every time you call - just your rep, and they have saved us $ many times with the knowledge they have about ins!

The SG Team has been very thorough and has taken the time to explain everything in layman's terms. They've also been very responsive when we ask any questions.
Our transition over to their firm has been a smooth one, and I sleep better at night knowing that we're better covered.

Unlike the former agency I did business with, I feel valued as a client. For my business-coverage, Brendt reaches out to me occasionally and before renewal. The old agency waited until just days before renewal. For my personal coverage, I can tell there is an active effort to reduce the cost of coverage, for example I was contacted by phone recently regarding my personal umbrella coverage.

The representative was very fast to respond to my questions and emails. She updated my information and told me that she got our cards out in the mail right away. The fast speed and good customer service was wonderful!
