MedExpress Urgent Care

Very easy web site to navigate, got an appointment booked on line that day for a sick visit. Check in was quick, saw doctor and was on my way to the pharmacy! Staff is very nice and office is great, we were very happy.

First time I’ve been there for myself. Everyone was pretty nice and respectful. I was in and out with zero questions left unanswered. Great experience overall.

I scheduled my appointment on line & was taken in within 10 min of arrival. I am very happy with the care I received as well as the patient education. The staff were very sweet & attentive. Clean facility & good hand sanitation.

I was very happy with my visit and the customer service and treatment.that I received. I’ve had a bad cough for over a week and nothing has helped it. The PA gave me a chest X-ray and checked me over. He prescribed two medications for me. I’m already feeling 80% better after my 2nd dose. I wish I would have gone there sooner. I would recommend them.

Great staff!!! I managed in a emergency department for years, the staff was outstanding! The doctor unfortunately forgot his name was a very nice man with an outstanding bedside manner.

Quick, clean and kind! I usually use another urgent care which is closed on Sundays so I tried here when my son developed a fever early on a Sunday morning and I was concerned about an ear infection. I was the only one in the waiting room, the receptionist, nurse and doctor were all professional and kind. They also accepted his Medicaid plan. When my son didn't have any ear infection the doctor didn't make me feel silly for bringing him at all, and he had a good bedside manner with my 9 month old. I was in and out in half an hour with my mind at ease. For a simple issue at a not busy time they were excellent and I would use them again if I find myself in need of an urgent care on a Sunday!

Staff and provider were all friendly and caring. Provider was spot on with my diagnosis and treatment. Only been 3 days and I’m feeling improvement already. Facility was neat and clean. Very satisfied with my treatment.

We deliberately chose MedExpress because they handle tick bites/Lyme Disease. The people were efficient, sincere and the first time for us, they made it easy and effortless. Josh, who took care of us, knew his "stuff" on ticks and gave us a lot of useful, hand's-on information, besides the medical side of it and the antibiotic used in this case. Everyone was warm, attentive and they LISTENED. So rare nowadays, but deeply appreciated by us. We will be utilizing their services, I'm sure, in the future. They were trustworthy, sincere and helpful. Kind people in a job that they love. Thank you to all of you! Brittany, Kati, MJ and Josh.

I've received polite, quick & caring service each time I've visited their Richmond facility. Monday I went to 3 local urgent care centers for severe lupus flare pain & each was booked to capacity! I called MedExpress & was able to get a virtual appointment + needed medication right away. Awesome

I have been here twice, once for myself, and today for my child. When I first walked in, I was shocked at how nice the inside was. When I went for myself, I had a terrible UTI that I had tried to get rid of for weeks and I had 30 minutes between two appointments to be seen. I walked in, was registered, evaluated, and discharged within 25 minutes, making it to my second appointment on time. When I was seen with my very sick child today, there were two people directly in front of me. We were registered and taken back within ten minutes and the care my child recieved was great! Although he wasnt thrilled with having to sit in an office, they kept him to ensure that the medication worked and that he left in a better condition than he came in with. The staff is very friendly and understanding. Definitely the best urgent care in Martinsville.

Very impressed with the organization from check in until discharge here. Michelle checked me in and took vitals and patient history, and Ilyas, PA, met with me. I was swabbed for influenza and was informed of outcome within 20 min. I was in and out within 50 min. Recommend getting there right at 8am when they open. When I left, the waiting room was full.

I have been to MedExpress twice over a 4-year period and both times I received excellent care. The nurses and doctors were very professional, yet reassuring. I would not hesitate to recommend the excellent care I received at MedExpress.
