Sumter County Clerk of Court Villages Annex

Went to the county annex office on Rt 466 for passport renewal information. Beverly was so helpful and pleasant. Gave me the form. When I retuned with the form completed she took our pictures, checked the form and our personal checks to make sure they were completed correctly. She even stapled the pictures to the form.
Could not have had a better experience.

Had to resolve a ticket, I was helped very quickly once arriving. Little to no wait at all. I spoke to two women. One being Mrs. Beverly, one being the other woman that didn’t introduce herself at all, not even a smile which was slightly displeasing and unprofessional to me. Mrs. Beverly’s big smile, positive uplifting attitude, along with her diligence in providing me with all the information I needed really saved the day! We definitely could use some more of the Public Service members with similar qualities. Overall 4/5 experience, thank you for your time and service!

Efficient, friendly, thorough!

This review is a reflection on Gloria R. Hayward and how she runs her office. If you are currently working or thinking of working under her supervision be careful. During the covid chaos, she decided to layoff 5 employees that were soon to retire. Prior to their layoffs, they were told they would not be laid off. That was a lie. They were laid-off, under the reasoning of budget constraints and told they would be called back as soon as the budget allowed. After 3 years, no call back for those employees. As a result their retirement benefits have been cut in half. Also, who do you think over sees the budgets? So bottom line, put in over 20 years at the clerks office, have a stellar career, and at the end be screwed over by Mrs. Hayward. Priceless!
