Winn-Dixie

This location is my favorite WD as it's refreshing to walk into the fresh produce section! Great selection of spices and seasonings. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

This Winn-Dixie is very clean it's also updated and has it's own liquor store attached. I was in there last time shopping & at checkout pulled some cash out with my debit purchase in the self-checkout lane. The cashier or attendant who was working saw that I'd left the cash in the register and sent someone out to give it to me. I was SOOOOOO impressed with their honesty that I actually gave them the cash as thanks. Attached are some videos from inside the store and some food I purchased and prepared from there as well.

Friendly and helpful employees! Great selection and clean store. I went here every day on vacation for this and that and was able to pick up a tip at each visit about things to do, shopping, or food. That is actually helpful and appreciated!!

Good place to buy groceries. Clean and well stocked. Lower prices than Publix.

Not like the other grocery stores I’ve been too. Extremely clean and very modern for the area. Perfect for The Village.

I love this place for their produce. They also carry items that Walmart does not. We stopped in to get a few items the other day and found some calamari in the frozen section by the seafood department. Used an air fryer to make and it was very good. Definitely will continue to shop there.

This is a very clean & new Winn Dixie. Although the layout of the store is similar to others, it is divided in 1/2 with produce, deli, wine and organics on the right of the store. The divider is a wall that goes from front to back with a pass thru in front & back. I find this setup extremely strange. It forces you to the register area in front or, the meats area in back.
I'm not sure what the premise of this is, but I do feel I am being corralled with this setup. Maybe some people prefer it? Perhaps there is a reason for this other than to corral you to meats (which not everyone eats!)???
Oh well it's just 1 of those mysteries...

Love winn dixie for their sale items. Also nice selection of specialty items. Each store has a very different personality of employees. The Sumter Landing long time emouees could be a bit friendlier. The new ones are stepping up though. Best fried chicken hands down

Great store very clean

I love how close the store us from my home and so easily accessible by car or golf cart. Their bakery has delicious cookies i have a difficult time resisting. It is clean. Has a good assortment of fresh produce. Friendly workers.

I gave it five stars because the store is nice and the people are helpful and friendly. I will warn everyone to watch what you are being charged. We were overcharged almost $4.00 today because the price per pound on the package did not match what had rung up. This is not the first time this has happened at any of the Winn Dixie stores.

Ordered a tray of wings for a party. Took only 12 minutes for them to put my order together and the wings were huge and fabulous! All the party guests raved about them. The medium tray that serves 12 to 16 came with at least 35 wings Plus ranch dressing and celery. Only $25!

Had to make a stop for cold medicine...I am thankful Winn Dixie has TopCare because those brand names are to pricey for me..with prices going up on everything!! Didn't find what I needed but I did purchase something that will help me! Thanks Winn Dixie!

I'm a fan of W-D. Prices are more reasonable here. Beautiful store in Sumter Landing. Like the prepared meals in front case.

They have all of the shelves full. Best I've seen since before the pandemic. Walmart neighborhood market in The Villages is horrible!!! I had about 20 items to get there and ended up with 9! Winn Dixie any of them has Walmart beat hands down. I.no longer go to Walmart neighborhood market and I live 1/2 Mike from it. Go to Winn Dixie believe me they are better than anyone during these horrible times

This review is solely from the perspective of an out of towner looking for organic/healthy options...

I was pleasantly surprised. Right after the produce I was greeted by an entire section devoted to organic and healthy options.. from candies and snacks to pastas and peanut butter.. all in one nice gift wrapped extravaganza for the health conscious shopper. Happy I chose to go there instead of Publix this evening. 😁

First time shopping here will definitely be back.

Love this store..displays are done extremely well and make shopping a pleasant experience.
