Ware-Bottom Church Battlefield

I applaud Chesterfield County on creating the Ware Bottom Battlefield Park. The Ware Bottom Battle was an important part of the Confederate attempt to block the advance of the Union army. i am sure that a lot of people are ignorant of Civil War history and would prefer to have every battlefield and monument completely removed and or bulldozed for modern development.

Very reflective. To walk the grounds where many American lives were lost and to see the actual earthen structures and fortifications where they fought.

Tree was down!

This feels like all the other civil war parks in the area, and doesn't stand out at all. It's alright though, well maintained, signage is decent, noise is minimal. Looks like it could use an update. If you're wondering what's here it's a short (probably around a mile), flat trail with a large number of earthworks from the civil war.

Very scenic trailways!!! If you are a Pokemon GO fan, there are many animals and a gym there... Good place for a jog... Walk... Or to play Pokemon GO lol

Short but many informative signs. Earthworks erected by the CSA soldiers degraded but very much visible

A nice little Park/battlefield. Neat to still see the field works.
