There I was... unsuspectingly magnet fishing, when a 'roided out crayfish attacked. He tried to steal a worm, my headphones, the car keys, the fishing license, and then tried slowly backing away with my magnet fishing rope. Very dangerous location. I suffered no physical injuries, but I live under the shadow of the Sinister Crayfish forever.

Generally a great small, family atmosphere. Deep enough to actually be able to swim, but shallow enough that most people can wade (7' at the deepest point that we have found). If you have goggles or a mask, you can enjoy seeing fish and crawdads as you navigate the underwater terrain. Just be careful on the rocks as there can be rattlesnakes (we haven't seen any personally). There is rough handicap accessibility, but it wouldn't pass ACA standards probably (sand and rocks). Overall, one of our favorite little swimming holes.

Basic, and small creekside park. No amenities except for one or two picnic tables. Quiet and beautiful location.
