Silver Thorn Tavern

My partner randomly picked this as our place to stop and eat as we were passing through this town and we were pleasantly surprised. The whole place is very clean and neat and the food is delicious and came very quickly. The staff was welcoming and happy to chat with us. It was a great experience. The only “issue” we had was not really even an issue, we first thought they were closed because the “open” sign out front wasn’t on.

We came here for the first time Saturday night on a recommendation from a couple people my bf works with. Very busy place when we walked in and had to wait a little bit for a table. I am so glad we waited because everything was amazing! We will definitely be back, as I got one of the specials and there are so many things on the menu I want to try! Amazing place and I highly recommend!!!

Great service. Our waitress was very attentive. Delicious meals. Our grandchildren love the pretzel appetizer!

Post hike meal. Deep Fried pickle, Town Fool Burger, both were great. The bathroom was really clean and our server was great with a fantastic personality. If I'm ever in this part of Pennsylvania I would definitely stop by again.

Great food and nice place. Owner is a great guy, helped me park a semi down the street so I could grab dinner on a long haul through town.

This place is incredible ! The Bang Bang Shrimp are beyond words - like seriously awesome , and the burgers are great ...

If you’re looking for a place in town to relax, get a good meal, and a cold drink then this is the spot! Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and the Paradigm Aerobatic team wants to thank the entire staffing for the warm welcome to the town. What a memorable night out with friends.

Great food! Great service. Ample amounts of seating indoor and outdoor. Really nice bar and a nice local and out of town crowd. Their new patio looks like a great option also! I haven't utilized that yet but I'm sure it's nice. Their kitchen staff is well versed also. Joe is the man with the plan back there!

Love the place- only complaint is its way to cold inside ' ruins the other great parts of the experience

I have ate here a few timea, the food has always been good and the service is as well.

The only downside is limited parking.

Wing night was very good. Waitresses are top notch.

Food was great. Prices were as expected and reasonable for the portion sizes. Service was prompt as expected.

The food was great, our waitress was personable and knowledgeable about the menu, and the place was busy without being overwhelming. We enjoyed trying the wings, cheesesteak, and shrimp po'boy. The beer cheese is phenomenal! Also, one of the owners took time out to come talk to us. We will have to go back soon and try the huge pretzel that everyone seemed to be getting!
