Nice selection. Big store, all on one level which is below parking lot but there are stairs and a ramp to get down to the entrance.

Great place for daily groceries! They have everything I need, even imported Spanish cheese. The new carts are awesome: super quiet and light and all the wheels work!

Gilbert at the front Lanes was extremely helpful. Matt also helped. Great customer service.

I just got home from the Metro Mart. It’s my neighborhood grocer and it’s apparent they are having some problems. But this review is not about that. This review is about a young lady who did her job with great knowledge, and a calm demeanor. I was in a cashier line and there were issues. I hadn’t gone to self checkout because I had a lot of items, but when the cashier line looked like no one would be checked out any time soon, I made the switch. Seeing I had many items, this young lady told me I could bag the items and move them to my cart right away. Too many items for self checkout? Problem solved! Then I had coupons which I hadn’t a clue of how to process. Once again, young lady to the rescue. And lastly, I ran my credit card, but instead of providing a receipt, the machine displayed a sign about scanning the next item. I explained to the young lady that I had already run my card and she went to work and in minutes I had my receipt.

I am describing this person. She was young, African American with long hair and bright green eye shadow. I want Metro Mart to know who she is because if they have a fast track management program, she needs to be in it.

Gilbert, who ran the self checkout this morning, was SO SWEET and HELPFUL.
I wanted a flower arrangement to give to my Mom today, but there was no florist available. He proceeded to ask me what it was I wanted, and grabbed a brown paper holder for my flowers and told me that Moms are important 😭😭❤❤ I MISS THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. He deserves a raise!!! Thanks Gilbert!!! ❤

Nice staff .. clean .. attractive meat display . Great prices . Seafood is always so good fresh . A lot of areas of the store are very well stocked meat department , dairy , farmstand Bathrooms are horrible though not to sure if this is just and overall lack of pick and save . But besides that I love this place !

I have wonderful memories of this store. I have moved and no longer come here but I used to love to sit in the cafe and eat and watch the big screen TV. Watched 3 Super Bowls here. Mostly came in the years 2005-15. Liked the fried chicken and the whole hot deli. Also liked that they would have ice for your glass and the little butter pats if you want it.

Love this store. It's so clean and every department has friendly service. The meat department is beautifully stocked with an abundance of choices. I love the flash frozen entrees that are offered. It's a very well thought out store that offers a Starbucks right by the bakery department. And, if you go in hungry by mistake, there are plenty of free samples to hold you over! I'll definitely come back and I do recommend! Oh I almost forgot about their floral department! Beautiful!!! By yourself or someone you care about a bouquet, YOU deserve it!! ✌

This place has great fresh food and healthy food also..

Excellent location, good selection of foods, within walking distance of my home making it an optimal place to shop. Used to go to Pick n Save on Ogden, but after new management took over they never have enough cashiers or self check out systems for people checking out and the line is always crazy busy. Never had this problem at Metro and will continue to shop for my groceries here.

Pretty much the best grocery store downtown. Better than the pick 'n save just down the street even though they're both owned by Kroger. Has a much bigger selection in the deli, bakery and salad bar. Their rotisserie chicken kind of sucks though, but that's my only real complaint.

This is a great market despite all previous negative reviews. It’s true that they use a lot of plastic containers for salads, fruits, and pastries that are completely unnecessary, but other than that there’s plenty of variety in the fresh food section, good deals throughout the week and especially on the weekends, and plenty of parking spaces for those who don’t live in downtown. There’s also daily fresh “homemade” (in-store) meals, soups, and even sushi at nice affordable prices. Great place to have in downtown together with the Pick n Save a couple of blocks north on the same street.

I love shopping here because the options are endless. Whether you are shopping to prepare a meal or to buy ready made food from one of the hot cases...they have delicious options. And to top it off, the staff is so friendly, especially Karen. Karen works in the self checkout lanes near the Starbucks side and I really love her spirit. She is very helpful and keeps the line moving. But she is also funny and remembers her customers. I know this because she greets us every time and has something funny to say to my partner and I. Karen, thanks for always making us laugh..see you soon!

The Metro Market off of Van Buren has been newly remodeled. It looks wonderful and it's has great offerings. It feels top-notch. Very, very nice store. It's easy to get around and find the things you need. Awesome Bakery and Deli. I enjoy shopping thetr a lot..

New renovations are great. For a grocery store in the middle of the city it's a pretty great gem. Lots of options, hot bar, salad bar, and fairly full selection of food items. Parking on the street level is a pain, but it goes with the territory I suppose. Also a fairly regular beggar spot so be prepared.

The renovations did amazing things to this store. They've also gotten a lot better at quality control and ensuring that only fresh items and fresh produce are put out. If you were hesitant about coming in the past, you should definitely give it another shot now.

Sarah in the floral department is amazing! She was very helpful with helping me make a balloon bouquet for an upcoming party.

Had an amazing experience with Evan in the meat department. Not only was he knowledgeable in his department he assisted me with finding the cheese i was looking for. Taylor the manager on duty was equally as wonderful and willing to help.

A wide selection of groceries. Great for loading up on your weekly needs or for a quick stop the grab something obscure. They have all sorts of random things you might not expect in a Grocery store. They have a pharmacy, a juice bar, phone recycling machine, a Starbucks, a bbq stand, and a bar. You can even get copies of keys made! This is my go-to spot

Walking into a US grocery store is always a treat for a Canadian. This was no exception. Alcohol prices are ridiculously cheap. Meat and fish is about a quarter of what we pay in Toronto. We loved the option of having Pho made in the store as we waited. The option of paper bags was something we haven't seen in 25 years. Great store.
