Huan Xi Chinese Restaurant

Ordered delivery and very happy - flavor profiles of our noodle dishes was full but not overly sauced or salty (compared to many other Chinese options) Steamed dumplings were also delicious. Overall perfect for the traditional Chinese takeout we were looking for.

One of the best places in Wisconsin to get authentic Chinese food, best in Milwaukee for sure! Their Sichuan dishes are pretty on par. The "La Zhi Gi" wasn't dry and crispy, however. Other than that, their dumplings are authentic, with good filling (prepared properly so a meatball doesn't fall out of a half eaten dumpling) and their spicy fish is awesome. A little slow on their service, but overall not bad and a friendly staff.

Love getting food from here. All the food I've gotten so far is really good and the portion sizes are bigger than any other Chinese food place I've ordered takeout from. My favorite thing to get is the general tso's with egg fried rice and "small" egg drop soup for $11. Keeps me fed for a few meals haha. The flavors of the food there are also my favorites and the general tso's is mainly chicken instead of drowning in sauce and breading like many other places I've ordered from. Service is also fast and the people there are nice whenever I pick up my food.

Only ordered once so far, but the general tso's chicken was the best I've had in the city, and I've tried a lot of other places. Also, delivery was fast and the driver was super chill.

Simply the best Chinese restaurant in Milwaukee. I've been here over 20 times and never been disappointed. 5/5 stars no question.

I have eaten here a couple of times. The waitstaff was great and the restaurant is very clean with a modern flair. The Crispy beef was excellent. Highly recommended.

Great service! Great food choices! They have hot pot n kbbq available! Personally I go for the hot pot! Only part is they only have like a few choice of broths.

While their online menu makes it look like a standard Chinese place, every table is equipped for hot pot! They have a big range of options for meats, veggies, and other items for the hot pot. Haven't had hot pot this good outside of Chinatown in Chicago.

Lots of fun, great food. Especially when you get to make it to suit your own taste. Karaoke is a fun touch especially it being private. Except the lyrics aren't accurate.

The hot pot buffet is great. It has lot of choices. It is much better than LA hot pot. Will come again

Best egg rolls I’ve ever had.

This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Milwaukee. They deliver blazingly fast — sometimes in 10-15 minutes — and they are extremely kind.

This is the second time I have come in for the Hot Pot and again, it it amazing. Service was good and the food was perfect.

My go to Chinese takeout. Wait times are minimal and food is always hot! They have the best prices and portions. Some things are better than others on the menu, but that’s any restaurant. They always listen to my order notes when I ask for no mushrooms (I do pick up orders on grub hub). This place is great if your craving some no fuss Chinese takeout.

They're my new favorite! They deliver either from their store directly or through Eat Street - I've gotten delivery all the way out in Washington Heights. That's how much I love this place. The portions are large, the price is right, and they're open later than most. Dining in, the staff was super friendly. Not excessively attentive, but we weren't left needing a thing. I will definitely be trying their hot pot and Korean BBQ at some point and will forever be in love with their takeout!

I had a mediocre food experience here several years ago, but decided recently to give it another try. I've been getting the lunch specials during the pandemic and I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised!

Both the Szechuan Beef and Roast Pork Fried rice were absolutely delicious!

Broccoli w/Garlic sauce and General Tso Chicken were also quite good, but I felt both could be a little better. I wasn't super excited with the cuts of chicken used.

Take-out times are also very fast!

I ordered delivery last night for my roommate and myself. She got general tso's chicken and I got sweet and sour chicken. We also got the fried dumplings, crab rangoons, and an egg roll. Everything was delicious! The delivery was fast, and someone from Huan Xi called me soon after I placed my order just to clarify a substitution I asked for, which was very nice! The food was all fairly priced and again, everything was great! I will definitely be ordering from them again.
