Very nice place to camp with full amenities for your camper and only 35 miles from home

What a gorgeous campground! We stayed on Loop C where there was a lake view from anywhere you looked. So beautiful. Many reviews talk about roads leading in. We have a pick up truck with pop up camper and had no problems. The staff is friendly and the common areas (bathrooms, beach area and picnic shelter) were spotless. Nearly every site was occupied and reservations are a must. We have already booked time in July and October. This place is a jewel!

Great COE campground. Very clean, well kept, friendly staff. Navigating through campground with larger rigs can be a bit tricky including getting into some of the sites. Taking your time and being patient is worth the stay. Since campground is about 5 miles off the main road you're rewarded with a quiet stay. Beautiful views and easy access for boaters to launch. Will definitely return again.
FYI, the squirrels are very friendly and will approach you for food. You may want to bring treats for them.

This place is local to where I live. But I haven't been there until now. It was nice. I really just enjoyed the atmosphere and looking out at the water and just watching the boats in the water.

A beautiful and very clean campground. The bath house facilities were exceptional. If you are not familiar with the area, beware that the last 5-6 miles to the campground (off of route 57) can be a little challenging. This is a mountain-forest, smooth paved road, but winding and sharp curves in some places. Caution is advised, especially if you are towing an RV.

We stayed in a tent. It’s very beautiful and the lake is amazing as well for swimming. Even though it rained we had an amazing time. Do get a canopy with side covers for that reason. Bathrooms were extremely clean and people were very friendly. We played some music but didn’t go past 9 pm. Most of the camp sites have amazing views especially the RV sites.

This was our first time here. He had a waterfront site and 4 days of perfect weather. With our "America the beautiful" senior pass our cost was $14.00 per night. There is no fast way to get here but it's well worth it. A nice quiet relaxing campground. We came here again in October, the weather was cool and there was some foliage colors to look at.

Peaceful & beautiful waterfront campground. Host very friendly & helpful. Public facilities clean and well maintained. It’s family oriented campground There is playground, boat ramp, 2 places for kayak launch. Water & electricity hook up ( on winter water only use in public facilities, there is water in front campsite #4 to refill your clean water tank ) It’s really beautiful campsite most of campsite waterfront. But however to get here be prepare drive in narrow and waving road about 5 miles to get the location of campground, especially if you drive with long RV.

Excellent! We stayed in site 42 with a very small pop up trailer. Beautiful and clean. Firewood is available. The lake is wonderful, great for kayaking. For those who have never been there, the inside campsites in the middle loop are tent only (steps up to the tent pad). The roads to the park are curvy and narrow. The road around the middle loop campsites is narrow. We have a 12ft trailer, anything bigger in middle loop would be a serious challenge. The other two loops take larger trailers.

Great campground. Road coming into the CG is 5 miles long with some hair pin turns, especially tight for a large rig. Be aware there's no sewer hook up and the trash collection is quite a hike, I guess they have it there to keep the bears away from the CG. Bath house is clean.

We are here now and have been for 3 days, staying a week. The best of the best. Perfectly manicured, wonderful, friendly hosts and great services. We travel with a 38' Fifth Wheel trailer and the spots and roads are real tight but doable. Remember there are no sewer hookups so you have to plan accordingly. There is a dump station, also a bit of a squeeze for our overall length. Love it!

about the area, long windy mountain road to get to the park/camping but a beautiful ride nonetheless! watch for deer while driving at night there’s tons! if you like peace, monday-thursday best time for camping. friday-sunday lots of people & children. tent camping is on the gravel so bring a tarp and heavy duty stakes. the beach is beautiful. huge lake, no boat rentals close though. bathrooms are always clean. staff is very friendly.

Goose Point Park is situated on a pristine lake and surrounded by Fairystone Sate Park with miles of roads and trails.
The folks that host at the park are wonderful and very friendly. I was fortunate enough to get a spot without a reservation. It is a lone way off the beaten path, so I recommend you make a reservation in advance, especially on holidays.
Enjoy‼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😁😁😁

One of the hardest campgrounds to get reservations at simply because the lower loop spots are very close to the water. It's a five mile trip from the main road down to the campground but it's worth it. It's very peaceful at this campground too. We always enjoy camper at Goose Point.

This is one of my favorite branches of Philpott Lake. Good access to the lake, lots of good, clean campsites, great views and kid friendly. The entire area is very well maintained and you will be impressed with the facilities. Great place to go anytime.

Loved it! Large sites, very safe due to patrolling sheriffs and camp host. The lake was nice and clear for a lake. Bath house wasn't too far from swim beach, so that was convenient! Will visit again!

My favorite place to camp. It has some of the most beautiful campsites on the lake with electric hookups. The lady with the whistle there is a little extreme. She needs to lighten up and live a little. Besides that excellent place to go.

Love this place. As a matter of fact this is where I started getting to know my now fiance when I was a small child, and we are getting married next week. We still love going up here and already have reservations for right after the honeymoon. Can't get enough of this place!
