Bowens Creek

Bowen's Creek was a great way to visit the Philpott Reservoir and do some kayaking with my daughter. There were plenty of parking spots, boat trailer parking, boat ramp, picnic tables and a small beach for swimming. The water was clear and calm, and the views were amazing. This location would have been great for fishing, and we'll do that the next time we are in town.

Kids had a great time the water was perfect temperature. I hadn't planned on getting in but the heat forced me in and we had a blast. We can't wait to go back. This was our first trip out of many many more to come

Perfect spot for little kids! We had the beach to ourselves, there was shade, and a playground at the entrance to tire the kids out, too! We will be back for sure!

Love it! They keep it clean & its peaceful! I would reccomend to anyone that jus wants to sit back & relax & enjoy bein by the water! If u have kids, its perfect for them to swim & habe a good time in the sand & in the water without the expenses of a beavh vaca!😄

Plenty of beach area , clean and convenient to walk around the edge of the lake Amd it’s plenty of room

Great place to take the kids swimming. Only $5 per car load. Nice designated swimming area for the kids.

A really nice and shaded park near to the ranger station.You have to pay (5.00) per car but you are very safe here.A very good place for small children to enjoy!!

Love this place only bad thing is u have to have a credit card to go in during the week so if u don't have 1 u can't get in should be a way to pY cash
