Barsala at Urbanite

I did not stay at this unit so I cannot speak to cleanliness, safety, etc.
I booked a 2 bedroom unit through AirBnb 1 month in advance and paid the full amount up front (>$1000). Two weeks before my reservation Barsala contacted me outside of AirBnB to let me know the unit had been over booked ("since January") and it was not available. They instead offered me two one-bedroom units in the same building. Not convenient as I am traveling with two children but I told them I was interested because it was our ideal location. They refused to cancel their original booking "because that is how they get paid" and just promised me they would have these units available. No way I would drive 6 hours with an infant and a toddler just because a random person based in "Seattle" says it will be available. They continued ignore my requests that they cancel the booking. I found a similar report from another Barsala unit on trip advisor. BEWARE

Just writing this review to let people know you STOLE from us! We prepaid you 2k for an apartment, right before Covid happened and, after we realized we wouldn't be able to use it, we tried to get a refund. We heard NOTHING back from you when we called, even tried reaching you through one of your ex agents you let go during the pandemic. Hope this won't have to see the court.

I can not believe I did not check this before booking with this horrible company. I had the exact same experience as the first two reviews. Please do not book with this company. They are thief’s and are robbing people on Airbnb.
