Bay View Dog Park

PSA: bringing your dog to any park is a RISK! There are large and small dogs, some trained and others not so much. My dog has been roughed up from larger dogs playing aggressively and has either humped or gotten humped consistently. But, he enjoys the social environment and other friendly dogs. Nice-sized park with friendly owners as well. There are dog parks in Cudahy and West Allis that have a separate small dog/large dog area if you do not want to run into any risks.

Was a good time for our pooch who loves meeting other dogs. Would not recommend bringing your dog there if they don’t get along with other dogs or children. This one guy was there and let me know his dog didn’t like children, ok no problem keep your dog away from my kids. Just minutes as we were leaving the dog attacks another dog 🤦🏼‍♀🤦🏼‍♀🤦🏼‍♀. Don’t make people deal with your dog who has issues. Thanks.

Not a bad dog park- could use some improvements but if Zeus is happy with it then so am I. Always lots of Frens any time of day. Other parks there’s no one there at some times of day. This one has been busy everytime we’ve come.

Perfect location to take the pooches and let them burn off some pent up energy. Wood chips are awesome and keep the mud and dirt to a minimum. A plus given for supplying plastic bags. Parking appears to be sufficient for the patrons. My visit was filled with friendly dogs and their owners.

The dogs and pups are friendly, as well as the owners. Huge acre lot with grass and wood chips so it's not as muddy as other places. (Pic was after it rained, he had fun)

So glad the Bay View dog park is open again! Our dog loves this park. It's so spacious and green, with plenty of areas to walk off to if she gets overstimulated. A dog park can be a stressful thing for an old girl! The other dogs and people have always been very friendly here as well, and we love the communal watering area for the dogs to cool off. Enjoying making it a regular weekend spot!

Smaller dog park, great if your dog likes others, usually fairly busy.

We live closer to runway dog park near the airport, and have not been impressed with it, so we tried this park over the weekend. The park is very well maintained and i was happy with the number of others there that my pup could interact with. All in all a very good first time experience.

This is a relatively small dog park, but the people whom we have encountered are friendly and thoughtful. The dogs have been wonderful too. People mostly stand around and allow their dogs to run and play. Fenced-in open area, no trees, no walking paths, wood chips; but a safe area for the pups to run inan urban setting. People kindly provide water.

This is the best dog park in Milwaukee. Everyone who goes there is friendly and willing to help you train a small puppy. All the dogs are well-trained never had a problem with an aggressive animal there except for one time in the morning a lady came in with a half boxer half lab dog that was very mean to my boxer. Overall very good experiences I go here every day with my dog and I love it year round.

Nice and big, a little hilly, nice neighborhood. No small dog specific area which means my pug can run around with the big guys. Always have available water, poop bags and trash cans in at least 3 spots. People generally clean after their dogs. Benches to sit and a shady area as well. Never been there in the winter, though.

Very nice dog park. Open area to run and benches, rocks, & logs for humans! Its great the have 2 huge containers for water but there is no place to fill them. Everyone was kind & respectful.

On the small side for a dog park, but that’s the only negative. Other dogs are generally friendly, there is a water jug for filling water bowls (walk across the street to refill the jug at the bar if it’s empty), and they’ve been really good about avoiding mud by dumping wood chips regularly.

Everytime I have brought my dog here, everyone is friendly. I have never had any issues and there it kept up by the city very nicely. We make the extra drive to go to this park instead of the one closer because of how friendly and well kept it is. Yes, it is outdoors is Wi so it does get messy but the city does a wonderful job at keeping up with the woodchips and waste removal.

Second time coming and my dog blue loves it she never really been around other dogs but she took so well I was nervous because I was afraid of judgment due to my girl being a American bully but everyone their was very comfortable and I just love it so does my pooch blueberry

So amazing 🤩 the parks absolutely beautiful ❤ we've waited a year and a half to finally b able to go back! We strongly recommend it! Bc some of it's underneath 794 there's plenty shade! Not to mention that it makes it possible to visit regardless of the weather! 🤗 Glad to see the improvements made were well worth the wait! 🐕👩‍👦 🥰💜🙌

Just moved here from Chicago and my dog was finally able to truly run! We had such a great time, maybe not the best in Milwaukee but better than anything in Chicago!

My girlfriends dog loves this park! There's usually a ball or 10 strewn about the park. Walk around and find one! There's poop bags, garbage cans, and free water too!
