My Great Find

I have purchased four pieces of furniture here over several visits and My Great Find is the first place I go when I'm looking for furniture. It is a source of hidden gems and exceptional value. Hidden gems: every square inch of this building is packed with furniture. If you're walking around trying to browse, you'll see furniture on top of furniture and won't be able to get a good look at every piece. Tell the owner what you're looking for - she has an impressive recollection of what's in the store and will move items out of the way to better showcase something that might work for you.

Used furniture typically comes in two varieties: 1) pieces that were poor quality when they were new which are now stained or damaged, salvageable only with putty, chalk paint and an imagination. Furniture like this is cheap and shows up at Salvation Army. 2) pieces which have received a museum level restoration. No scratches, so glossy you can see your reflection in it. Furniture like this is multiple thousands of dollars a piece and honestly, even if I could afford it, I'd be intimidated living in a house with something so fancy.

The furniture at My Great Find is in the very uncommon third space. The items are high quality. Real wood, often from known/established manufacturers, with the details that distinguish good furniture (i.e. dovetail joints). The furniture is in good used condition - there might be a slight scratch or ding, but not gashes or giant dents. It looks like it came from a home with real people who used it and took care of it and now it's ready to be used in your home - no chalk paint necessary. The price point is not "cheap," but not thousands of dollars either. On my most recent visit, I purchased three pieces for less than the cost of a single, new piece of quality furniture.

I'm so excited to have a store like this in Winchester. They will have my business for years to come.

The big room looks like the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Fun to look through and find pieces you might be looking for. Not for everyone, but it's a junk hunter's dream spot.

They have a lot of small furniture, mirrors, knick knacks, I found a huge mirror here before. Nice people and it's nice to look around.

If you are claustrophobic don't go in this store. There is no room to walk down the aisles or even turn around! There is like a path through the store and it is only about 12 in wide! Things are piled up on top of each other and there it is so disorganized you can't even see the things in there.

what I have experienced as to my girlfriend is the fact that very disrespectful and when your trying to do business with her its a slap in the face of how much value of memorial things you have its brought down lower it was insulting , because the things that i have are very valuable and tooken care of never again am I doing business with this place.

Extremely overpriced junk - even if you did find something within your budget, it would take an hour to sift through all the mismatched furniture to even pay for it. The lady is nice and friendly.

I get that they want to make a profit however, most items are very overpriced and it is SUPER DIFFICULT to walk through the store because it's so insanely cluttered.

Never open when said they are and really overpriced
