We have been in Helen for 3 days and we've been to the Hayloft 5 times. We loved it here! The new bar is so cool! It's built using rustic, unfinished wood that smells like freshly shaved sawdust. It adds a lot to the ambience! The beer is cold, the food is great, and the bar is always full of laughter. A must-stop if you're looking for a great outdoor bar atmosphere. The place is really jumping when there's live music.

Loved this place. Wanted to try the mozzarella sticks. These are not your regular mozzarella sticks! You must try these if you have a chance. The burgers are huge. Thick and taste great. We went Saturday afternoon before the action, which is fine since we just wanted a good meal. We sat outside at the upstairs loft with our dog. The staff and the owner's kid were all great. Friendly and courteous.

We were here today for lunch after Bigg Daddy's turned us away. Hayloft was happy to accommodate us and I had the best watermelon margarita I have ever tasted! This place should really get more press. I was very impressed with the food and the service!

Our server was really knowledgeable and friendly. She knew exactly what to recommend to me. The whole atmosphere of this place is amazing now that they have new owners. I highly recommend trying their pineapple upside down cake drink. It tastes just like a pineapple upside down cake. Also the fried okra was on point!

Great service and the food was seriously some of the best bar/pub food I’ve ever had. Get the wings! The bar itself is very well kept, updated, and clean. Which says a lot for Helen since every single restaurant and bar hasn’t been updated since the 1980’s. We’ll definitely be coming back here!

Delicious food, quality ingredients, good beer selection and good service. The "Monsterella sticks" are huge and amazing. The philly cheese steak, while a little on the pricey side, is made with very high quality ingredients and will definitely fill you up. New owners are doing a lot to make this place better. Don't let the negative reviews fool you... many of those were from the previous owner's era.

The drinks where great and the food was delicious. Bartender made some of the best drinks. We went there as a group of four had two appetizers and each had something different for our main course. Everything we ordered was great and cooked to order. The only thing bad was the urinals where tall and I am 5'10". LOL but it was all great.

The Loft is a cool spot, with a chill vibe. Went in hungry and was welcomed with recommendations and friendly conversation. The owners and staff are down to earth, good people. Food is great, all homemade. If you're in Helen, GA check out the loft. *Free pool*

Great place to go and have drinks at a reasonably price. Best service in town! Drink prices are the best priced in town. Atmosphere is awesome. Kid friendly during day hours and great place for adults in the late night hours. Security makes you feel safe. Just changed management. Love this place!

Fantastic place to be with family and friends! My coworkers are amazing and accepted me the day I started my job! The new owners, Chris and Melissa are amazing, friendly, and caring people! The customers are always friendly and kind and everyone is like family, wether you’re a visitor or a local! The food is 5 star as are the drinks, karaoke, dancing, and over all the best place to spend your time. And it’s right across the street from the river! They are adding cornhole, horseshoes, Thursday bike night, open for dinner seven days a week, great prices on food and drinks, outside ice coldbeer bar, bigger dance floor! All the works!

Place is excellent. Seems to be more of a later at night drinking spot than dining as we got right in at 5:30 on a saturday night, another spot down the road was a 30 minute wait. Extremely accomodating to us and our 14mo old. Staff went out of their way for us. Food was great across the board, philly cheesesteak was excellent. Definitely recommend it!

Great place for lunch! Enjoyed a good brat and cold beer. The bar area was awesome. Tried a place down the street but it had a 40 minute wait. So glad we came to Hayloft.

This is my favorite tavern in Helen. The owners(Mike and Margo) are really nice and very thoughtful of their customers. On karaoke nights Mike will often sing. I go there every time I pass through Helen.

Really great, affordable food and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. Burger and fries were excellent and the homemade ranch was delectable. Seems like they really made an effort to address bad previous reviews.

Absolutely Love this place. Very Nice and cozy. Great for family or just friend time. The perfect home away from Home if your the type to hang out at your local bar. It's definitely Helens hidden treasure .. Friendly people.. Great Food.
