Great home cookin served up cafeteria style. Each day has a somewhat different menu. All of the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Portions were plentiful. They do take a break between 10:30 & 11 to switch out for lunch, so there's no service at that time.

Welcoming friendly staff! Awesome breakfast. Homemade corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy were excellent. Fruit covered waffle and blueberry pancake specials were great, too.

We like to go for breakfast. My husband likes their fried potatoes and sausage gravy. We usually get Kim as our server. She is friendly and remembers our order. She is a great server.

I love sitting at the counter for breakfast and getting to know the many locals that dine there for breakfast. You always get great service sitting there as well and chatting with the owners who do the cooking. Glad to see this historical restaurant was purchased and kept going by the new owners. Try the Ponhoss!

We will definitely return to the Thomas House Restaurant! The food was delicious. The server was awesome. We had a party of 5 and were seated in a quaint room all to ourselves. I ordered meatloaf with mashed potatoes and lima beans. My husband ordered fried oysters with hush puppies and pasta salad. Corn muffins were served prior to the meal and they were delicious. Other members of our party ordered the Fried chicken with soup and Macaroni and cheese. The soup was thick and tasty. The macaroni and cheese was really good too. The southwest chicken wrap and salad were also ordered and as mentioned before they were delicious. This was a nice treat after shopping at the Green Valley Bookfair. We can't wait to return. This was an awesome dining experience.

Reminded me of eating at my grandma's house. Very friendly staff. A little hard to find. You will need cash. People who care prepare the food here. There no one that ate with us that did not like their meal. I will definitely go again when I am in the area. Just a plain old place to eat. Probably the best food around.

Outstanding wonderful food and staff. Great prices very home like because it was a home :) Have eaten here from 1970s on Never had a bad meal. You want homemade Sothern comfort food this is it! Thomas House was a hidden gem. I had the ribs, and they were unsurpassed in tenderness and flavor. My wife had the fried chicken, which was very tender. My wife said it was the best chicken she had ever eaten, and that's saying a lot. We were greeted immediately upon arrival. I have Celiac Disease and cannot eat gluten. Although their menu had no gluten-free designations, our host, who had greeted us graciously, worked with me by communicating with the chef, and I ended up with a wonderful gluten-free meal. The atmosphere is straightforward like the diners of bygone years, and frankly, it was a good feeling. We will eat there again and recommend this hidden treasure to our friends and family.

This is one of those reviews where you WISH you could rate more than five stars! They provided the food for my husband's Celebration of Life. Without a lot of warning, they had LOTS of food for the 300 plus who showed up! It was wonderful. I have had many, many compliments. Right on time, delivered so it stayed hot with great instructions, and relieved a lot of stress at a very stressful time. Thank you!!!!

Very good southern-style food with an ample menu. The pulled pork and brocolli salad were really good. The staff was very attentive. I would definitely recommend

Don’t let the interior and decor fool you. This place has incredible food! BBQ pork and ribs were outstanding and best Mac n cheese I’ve ever eaten! So glad we took a booth and didn’t walk back out!!!

Great food at a great price. Cafeteria style where you can get a few sides or an entire meal. A big selection of desserts too. Cash or check only.

Great breakfast served very efficiently by Kimberly. The coffee mug was constantly refilled. We had 2 eggs, bacon and grilled sourdough bread. I will return for that yummy meal!

Big smiles from employees when I walked in the door. Cafeteria style. Everything was delicious. Fried chicken wasn't greasy which was a huge plus. Scalloped potatoes were outstanding. Mac and cheese great too. I wished the corn bread had been served hot, that is until I took a bite. The flavor was so good, it didn't matter if it was hot or cold. Waitress was very attentative. Coffee was fresh. Peanut butter pie I can't say enough about. The food definitely has the homemade vibe going on here. Worth every penny.

Fun old-timey traditional charm. Feels like a visit with your grandparents. Love the water feature!
