Econo Lodge Milwaukee Airport

It was my last resort and quick place close enough to spend the night at after a long 6 hours outside waiting for red cross and etc etc due to a fire in my residence, we got evacuated out for the night, only the front half was burnt and luckily was able to go back. But paid 100$ security deposit on the card and was told will receive it in 2 to 3 business days. Was there on Sunday night , got there at about 930pm. Checked out at 11 obviously. The girl, at the front desk at night was sweet, she was still even there the next morning and told me "I got you" with the security deposit back and was very sweet, asked for her name & forgot it already but remembered it started with an "N"? I hope and think? It was pretty and she was about younger and my age. She was new because I didn't see her last year when stayed 2 weeks downstairs in back part. This time experience was definitely way better then last time, I stayed in room 253 and it was quiet for us. And a good rest/relaxation after a long hard stressful day/evening due to the fire and having to leave. The room was very clean, just a small smudge on the wall in bathroom but nothing major. Very clean! The next morning went to return my key after the man gave us an extra 15 mins to pack up and go, and seen him in the hallway walking towards the office & I gave it to him instead and brought up the security deposit and he told me the same thing the girl said, so hopefully come tomorrow I should have it.?! 🙏 I even told the guy his room is cleaned, only used a rag on the sink and some garbage, that's it , told him the beds are made neatly etc etc. Thanked both the girl and the man in the red shirt cleaning the rooms I believe and who knocked on our door, thank you so much! They were both very friendly and told them I'm giving a review! ❤ hope if I'm there again, they are the ones to deal with again. Because my last years experience, well a little over a year and a half, wasn't as good due to a lady and her bf constantly arguing and she worked there as well, her room was right by the window downstairs few doors from me, she even came into my room drunk trying to take her shirt off and touch on my boy, and she was a worker there. Didn't see her this time. But maybe that's a good thing because she was Terrible! They were the reasons we left in the first place. More to the story but it's in the past now. I enjoyed this time around and that's all that matters. Big thank you again to the man in the red shirt who knocked on our door to check out and gave me 15 more mins and our small talk as well after giving the key back, very generous guy! & of course the sweet girl working in the front desk whom also spoke with the next morning, as I was leaving she was too! Good job you guys 👏 I think it's getting better there. P.s happy early valentines day(: 💝

My best friend and I can’t possibly rave about this Econo Lodge enough! As soon as we landed, we called for a shuttle and they showed up promptly not even fifteen minutes later. Check-in was a breeze, the room was clean and simple, the location was perfectly close to the airport and the staff were so friendly! Plus they remembered the plans we made and always asked us how we were doing! Please consider booking if you’re looking for an inexpensive but quality stay. PS. They also offer juice, coffee, donuts, and other pastries in the morning! :) so cute!

It is only slightly out of the way in consideration of the airport.
Great clean rooms, sink his outside of the bathroom but this is a small thing of note.

I left my hat here and the manager was kind enough to mail it back to me. I did not expect that so am very grateful. The location is perfect and the breakfast is fine. Can't beat the price and location.

Love love love! I felt pretty confident going in considering all the reviews about bed bugs were more than a year old and it was fine. I won't say for sure that there aren't any bed bugs but if there are I think maybe the staff has talked to them and told them to behave? I like how the bathroom door looked like it was kicked in at some point. Seems like they probably shot a movie here where someone tried to lock themselves in the bathroom and call 9/11 but they didn't succeed. I also like how they allow pets but don't tell you. It's a nice little surprise. There was a chicken in the room next to us and it wasn't distracting at all. Our alarm clock had this really cool feature where it started going off every 5 minutes at midnight until we unplugged it. But if I had to pick a favorite thing about this hotel it's definitely the donuts and coffee in the lobby. The coffee has a real tarry consistency and the donuts have that great "been sitting out for 3 days" taste. Reminds me of church functions as a kid and that's a very special feeling that only the Econolodge at the Milwaukee Airport can give you. You should stay here even if you don't have a reason to be in Milwaukee. Come for the Econolodge, stay for the Beer. That should be their city motto. 5 stars.

We spent the night and it was comfortable. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant both when we checked in and when we left the next day. Same person and she was great!

Rooms were clean, manager was nice even mailed back some forgotten medication..
Cheap place to lay your head for the night. Felt 100% safe there and around the area..

My fiance and I were in town to spend a weekend with family. From booking the hotel to our entire stay we cannot say enough good about staying here. We were accommodated in every way. I've had knee surgeries and the staff kept my ice in the freezer. This was so appreciated. ALL the staff were so friendly.

Always like this hotel. It is clean and neat. It is older, so if you demand fancy go elsewhere but if plain, good accommodations matter, this is the place. The shuttle and driver are great and it takes about 10 minutes to the airport.

I needed a hotel for a room, shuttle and long term parking. I went online and either couldn't book or I was confused on prices for what I needed. I then started to call places and wasn't given very good customer service . I was made to feel it was bothering them. Plus prices were outrageous. Then I called here and talked to Sam. He was friendly , professional and helpful. He eased my concerns about a shuttle being avaliable for my flights. This is the first time I'm doing this so I was releaved. The price was very reasonable for my needs. I'm looking forward to my stay and knowing all my needs will be taken care of. Thanks for all the great customer service Sam!

This was just what we were looking for to making it easy to get to the airport for an early flight and to save $$ on airport parking.. It is a 3 star hotel that was clean and had everything we needed for a good nights' sleep. The continental breakfast was just fine - and helpful to have something to eat before the shuttle to the airport. We plan to stay here again.

Very nice rooms and shuttle service is convenient. Fast and free. Lady at front desk was quick and very kind. They let us checked in at 12pm since they had vacant rooms.

Staff was very accommodating with room request and need to replace top sheet and cover. Room was clean, restroom was clean, no real complaints. An iron and board in the room would have been nice, but this was minor.

Stellar Customer Service.

I came to the area for Business, with hopes to teach. I was accommodated from the time of check-in until check out. Prasad was very understanding to my needs of checking in. Anything I called to the front desk for, I was able to get it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is coming into town on business. Straight to the point and clean.

Good clean rooms, plenty of parking, Rates were very good.
Continental breakfast was pretty much the usual, didn't expect steak and eggs, Coffee was good...
I would go back again.

We used this hotel as a stay and park. We stayed the night before our flight and the hotel was fine for our 6 hour stay. We had a 5am flight and they got all 7 of us to the airport in our shuttle. Upon returning to MKE, it did not take long for the shuttle to pick us up and drop us off at our car. The price for two rooms and parking 2 cars for 8 days was just slightly higher than parking in the cheepest lot at MKE for 8 days. Because of our early flight we were happy to pay the few extra dollars to sleep overnight the night before and not have to leave our home at 1:30 am. Will do it again when we fly out of MKE.
