so I came back this time and the dentist made me a night guard. He genuinely cares about my teeth so this has been my experience. We go to professionals in specific areas so that they can help us. I just want to thank this dental office and the doctor Ellis for all your caring concern about my well-being and my teeth. When I entered into this facility for my first appointment I was absolutely amazed. The place was so inviting. Who could be afraid of a dentist in that atmosphere??? The staff was so friendly I felt as if I was part of the family. The hygienist was completely thorough her name is Melissa such a wonderful personality. She took me step by step how this whole process would occur what I would be feeling in my mouth all of those things and she was very very knowledgeable in her field. Then the doctor came in and he had the most pleasant voice. Very reassuring and comforting. He told me everything that would occur what they were going to provide how it would be done. The staff here left nothing out. I really appreciate your genuine hospitality. I honestly can say I felt as if I was right at home. I completely and totally recommend this dentist to anyone that lives in our community or outlying communities. Thanks again for helping me to feel safe, and welcomed. See you next time. I went in for a cleaning. And as usual the staff is really really wonderful. What I love about this dental offices they're consistency in their excellent customer service and care. Thank you again. Well the VA put me back at Dr Ellis Dentistry. I'm so grateful for this place they show consistency in their character and the way they treat their patients. The people in this office are super friendly really really love it best dentist I've ever been to In My Life. And I've only been to a few. But thank you I just want to say thank you to the entire team who makes sure that the VA gets all the information and that you take such time and care for the upkeep of my teeth. It's like one big happy family there and I always feel welcome and you just can't beat that

As someone who previously struggled with dental anxiety, finding the right dentist was hard. Now I don’t hesitate at all. I love all of the hygienist and dentist and now the whole family (even the 3yo!) is on a regular dental routine which cuts WAY down on dental emergencies!

I love this place! I walked in and immediately heard the staff's friendly voices. The waiting room was cozy and clean. And then I met Amber! Who's totally amazing and really easy to talk to. She's got a great sence of humor and
listened intensely to my concerns. "OH"and then I met my hygienist who is so full of light and and super refreshing to to my soul, he's calm and soft spoken and a sweetheart! I love you guys! 🩵 I'm so glad I decided to go to the dentist
Because I was super nervous because my teeth aren't the best, but they put me at total ease, and made a plan to fix my teeth. I'm so SUPER EXCITED that I found this place! It's REALLY AWESOME and now, I'm on my way to Healthier, clean teeth!

The folks at Ellis Dental provide an outstanding level of dental care for both me and my entire family! They're very accommodating, customer-service oriented, and willing to do what has to be done in order to complete our dental care successfully and on time. Dr. Ellis and his staff are the "Gold Standard" for dentistry and I consider then the yardstick for which all other dental providers are measured within the Hopewell area - If it were possible, I'd give then 10 stars!

Who enjoys a dental visit? Not me!! My anxiety would skyrocket the days preceding my appointment. Ellis Family Dentistry has been such a great experience for me. They understand how most people feel about going to a dentist. They created a calm relaxing environment, the staff is caring and as gentle as the dentist and the free flowing comedic banter between staff and boss truly makes my visit...fun... whaaat? Yes, fun!!! I've chosen NOT to move to Hampton because I know I'd never find a dentist of their equal

As always, the office is lovely and so clean! The staff is welcoming and our hygienist is excellent. Last and certainly not least Dr. Ellis’ manner and skill make going to the dentist a pleasure. How many folks say that about going to the dentist!!

This review is from Lynette. I have had only exceptional treatment from Dr Karp, Jenna, Kelsey and the young lady yesterday. I apologize that I cannot remember her name. I quit going to dentist a long time ago because of a horrible experience. I thought long and hard before choosing another dentist. When I first went to this practice, I was terrified. But, my experience has changed my perspective about dentist and I highly recommend this practice to everyone. They have been compassionate, caring, and take the time to explain everything. There are no hidden charges. You know upfront what the cost is going to be prior to the procedure. Hats off to all of them.

They are so friendly and they do whatever you want done I've never had a Dentist to treat me with respect. Mr.John Ellis is so funny he makes your visit very easy going.Keep up the good job.

I have been going to Ellis Family Dentistry since retiring from the military and I am very impressed with the service I have received there. From the Front Desk, to the Hygienists, to Dr. Ellis, the work and hospitality has been top notch. If you are retiring, staying in the area, and need help coordinating with the VA, Stefanie will definitely make the process easy.

I had a bad experience with a previous dentist and was EXTREMELY reluctant to go again. I was in need of some serious dental work and was recommended here. Dr. Karp is a whole angel. She explained everything she was doing and I can’t say enough good things about my experience there. I was comfortable the whole time, and felt like she took my previous experience seriously which was so important to me in helping me the rest of the work I need done comfortably.

Ellis Dentistry has very friendly atmosphere . The Hygienist was awesome. She provided me with great tips on what to use to floss as flossing with braces are a task. I highly recommend this office everyone is kind and helpful starting at checkin.

Going to the Dr. Ellis's office is almost a pleasure! Every one in the office makes you feel welcomed & at ease,,,or as much at ease as anyone can feel in a dentists office - yet, they are totally professional!

Everyone at Ellis is amazing to work with. I trust them fully with the care of my family. Michelle is amazing with kids and makes them feel at ease, which says a lot for my Lilly who doesn’t open up to many. Dr. Karp is also fabulous with kids! We couldn’t ask for a better dentist to take care of our needs.

Seaver is the absolute best dental hygienist! I’ve missed Lynn since she retired but Seaver is amazing! Jonathan is so attentive as my dentist. Julia his mom & Annie his wife are just so accompaniment g and on top of things always! Love this team!!!♥♥♥
