South Shore Park

This beach and park have it all! The park and beach are cleaner than expected and they also have public restrooms which are also very well cared for. Great place to bring the kids!

This is such a beautiful place to take the dog for a walk! The views are magnificent, the people are friendly, it feels safe, and the little bar is a great way to wrap up your walk with a cold beer.

Fun little park where we had a picnic after getting off the Lake Express Ferry. It was nice to walk around.

It was quite lively - a good place to bring your kids. It looked like it had an interesting event hall for weddings and such.

Not a beer drinker, but the beer garden is adorable. They have sausages in addition to small schnecks. Grilled to order. Bathrooms are clean and cared for. Employees are friendly. The view is fantastic. I hope the garden really takes off so the property can be further maintained and upgraded.

Great out door beer garden, with food menu, 20 plus beers on tap and two gas fire pits. Kids and we'll behaved dogs welcome!

What a fun place for a family gathering of an evening! Wonderful beer garden with good food. Also wine, cider, and a few cocktails. Tables both inside and out. Great staff!

Great place to walk along Lake Michigan or simply grab a coffee & a bench & watch the sun rise. I noticed a boat launch & of course beautiful views of the lake, yacht club, waterfowl & city skyline in the distance. Take your camera.

This park provides great views of Lake Michigan. The city is viewable in the distance. There is a block of boats close by as well. I got great pictures here. My only gripe is that I didn't bring my zoom lens to snap a few pictures of seagulls in flight. I did capture great panoramic shots and sweeping views. There is a market, bars and restaurants withing walking distance as well.

We had a wonderful, memorable, safe day at the beach!!! We'll DEFINITELY be back while the weather holds up until school starts. 😎🌞👍👌

Beautiful setting right on the water. Fun for people of all ages! A park for the kids and a beer garden for the adults. If beer isn't your thing, there is a coffee shop just up the hill. A Famers market every Saturday during the summer months makes this a go to hangout spot on the weekend. There is a venue on site that hosts wedding as well! Perfect spot in Bayview.

Great view of historic building downtown Milwaukee, people sitting, people running, I sat listen to water waves and watched planes pass over head.

Very nice park. Excellent walking/biking paths along the lake. Some nice picnic areas, and during the summer the farmer's market on Saturdays is great. The South Shore Terrace Beer Garden is great, decent food, plenty of drink options and a nice event space.

Excellent park right on Lake Michigan. Always very clean and well maintained on every visit. On Saturdays there is a farmer's market early in the day. Two playground equipment types so toddlers have a place to play on too.

A beautiful park, graciously hugging the Lake Michigan shoreline and offering one-of-a-kind views of downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan. It features a terrace with a beer garden complete with fire pits. Give yourself the gift of a hike along the paved Oak Leaf Trail, which picks up right at the park and heads south. Then turn around and walk back. If you time your walk, you can end it with a hazy IPA at the terrace - a great way to experience the real Milwaukee.

Beautiful trails with beautiful scenery. Even nice beach area! Cute ducks to play with as well!

Great park. Handicap accessable chair lift. Smelly bathrooms however. Merky. Bleh. Great surrounding parks and beaches. Some trash on them. Amazing view of the city. The bike trails did it for me. Will keep coming back to the food markets too!

I love the water I love the lake and the pier there is awesome I love walking over it !
