Resurrection Cemetery

My folks are here. It's a very nice cemetery. Service has always been courteous, helpful, and considerate. Plots are reasonably priced and the Diocese will happily buy back any un-used plots should you want to "return" them. It does seem like every time I visit I know more names on the headstones, but that's not Resurrection Cemetery's fault :-)

Most of my family is buried at Resurrection Cemetery. They take exceptional care to avoid damaging the headstones. I spent $50,000 on a marker for our family plot shipped from Italy 20 years ago, which is the equivalent of about $85,000 now. When I visited last weekend, I was shocked at the absurd about of cheap fake-flower arrangements strewn over almost every upright monument in our section: It looks like people chose clearance items from Walmart and dumped them on the graves of their loved ones despite already having constructed beautiful stone and bronze monuments. Resurrection has been extremely lenient on those who decorate the tombs outside the specified regulations. To those unhappy with cheap plastic adornments being removed, I suggest you move your loved ones to a cemetery that accepts burial plots that look like trailer trash.

My moms headstone had sunk. I talked to someone inside and explained I wanted my mom’s headstone raised. Came back a week later and her headstone was perfect.

MS. D., I am sorry for your disappointment of decor. As you drive in, there is a box, explaining when, what. Remove by or it is gone. We found out the hard way as well.

We have had ups and downs throughout the years with this Cemetery.

In the past years, they have made it much nicer.
Could you probably been under duress at that time?

My parents had paid their
Graves 25 or more years before. They buried someone in my Father's Grave, named FOX!

We could have been jerks and made them move the Right hole, Wrong Body!

New spot. STILL WOULD NOT OPEN THE GRAVE WITHOUT MONEY! IT WAS LIKE MOVE HIM THEN, ITS OPEN!

There is something in life called compassion ❤.

Right before, on my way to the Cemetery, the Archdiocese called my Mother, when in 2 hours, burying her Lifetime Veteran Husband, who FAITHFULLY GAVE MONEY TO THE CATHOIC CHURCH St. BERNADETTE, since it's conception.

Have compassion for the person who made a mistake.

Pay to open the grave or he won't be buried!!!!!

Funeral is...do we have a choice. Said we would get the money back! Nope!!!!

You are worried about FLOWERS?

they keep throwing away my decorations even though i make sure they are secured to his vase. they don't let you decorate and honor your loved ones on their plots like other cemeteries do and it's one of the most disrespectful things a CEMETARY could do. your entire job is about giving people a place to come and grieve and honor their loved ones. they seem to care more about the area being uniform and perfect than letting people grieve how they want to. if there is clearly personal objects, the grave is obviously being visited and you guys need to contact the family and give them a heads up instead of just throwing everything away! imagine how heartbroken someone gets!!! PLEASE DO BETTER.
