Vino Third Ward - Wine Bar & Store

We were exploring the third ward neighborhood in Milwaukee and saw this place and we're glad we stopped. The bartender was very nice and offered recommendations for the wonderful wine selections

We stopped in here for a quick drink before going back to our hotel. The guy behind the bar was incredibly nice and friendly! We thought things were priced very fair, and loved that you could buy a bottle and enjoy it there. Very chill atmosphere, would recommend!

Lovely place, good service. I was here with my friends for a girls wine night and we left happy. Their flights are perfect for groups of 5 or 6. We will come back again <3

I do recommend this place and the wine tasting experience. Next time I am in Milwaukee, I'd love to come back! The wine selection was wonderful especially the international and regional wines. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient with our group (bachelorette). The cheese board options were plentiful and delicious and filling to pair with the wine and mead.
It was extremely accommodating that they served other beverages to one of our group that did not like wine - I know... but they had bourbon and gin! ;) Just above and beyond!

Atmosphere is sexy - cool, dim light atmosphere, very comfortable and clean bathrooms. Great for group or date.

my favourite bar in the third ward. House is very reasonably priced and the bartenders, Ryan and Rachel, make it a very welcoming environment. Ryan is very knowledgeable and always recommends something i would like. Rachel is very friendly and a great server. i regularly come for the game night, very fun place to unwind after a busy day!

Real good service and very good wines. Prices are also good and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheese plate is great. The picture of the wine was my favorite from the ones I tried there.

I had a private holiday party at Vino Third Ward. What an outstanding choice for a venue. The GM went out of her way to anticipate my requests and even made custom menus. And our bartender was professional and efficient and loved by all. I encourage you to stop in and try them out!

I walked in looking for a bottle as a gift and a very nice girl with blush on her nose was SO helpful. Sometimes wine shops are a little patronizing but the environment was super welcoming for someone who doesn’t know a ton about wine. Definitely going back soon!

I don’t want to tell you about this place bc I want it to myself :) every time I go to Milwaukee, I stop here. Personable and friendly staff - awesome wine. I love it. I’ve been a regular visitor for the past 6 years…

My last visit - I ordered a flight, and each wine was better than the last. It made choosing even more difficult. Luckily, the flights are generous so I was able to choose a (ok 2) favorite(s).

Had a meeting there, it was more than a pleasurable experience. The bartender was very informing and attentive. I tasted more than my share of great wines. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is chic, rustic but polished, and fun.

My friends and I had great experience here! We sat outside and enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious wines on a Friday night. The som was very knowledgeable and approachable, which was refreshing. I was impressed with how much time he took to help everyone in my group find the right drink for them. Will visit again!

Paul at Vino Third Ward is an awesome guy. Very attentive and experienced with different selections of fine wines. I would definitely recommend this place for a cozy date night out or a zen night after a long day. The staff here are well trained and versitile. They know the types of wine I like and take very good care of me. Definitely a thumbs up and deserving of 5 star rating!!!

Love this bar! The wine selection is great and the environment is charming inside and out. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, yet laid back and friendly. Not the stuffy feeling you typically get from some wine bars. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already, truly a gem in the Third Ward.

This place is amazing has a very chilled vibe to it Employees are very knowledgeable about their wine selection and do a very good job of recommending based on what you like I would highly recommend this place for a date night or even just to get a couple casual drinks. The owner is also extremely nice. I look for to coming to this place in the future and bring all my friends with.

Small, intimate venue that is frequented by residents in the Third Ward and visitors alike. Amazing staff including three certified Sommeliers. The owner, Paul, will order in your specific needs and price points. It is the best selection of wine and beer in the Third Ward. For those that are not up for a glass of wine or a craft beer, they also have a full bar for a cocktail of your choice. Also note that you can reserve the space for private events up to 45 guests. Highly recommended!

The guy who works there is on par with any Napa, Sonoma California tasting rooms but with a friendly unpretentious demeanor. He knows his wines and is super approachable, knowledgeable and fun. Should have his on YouTube channel he is that amazing. They also have classes and cheese pairings which I want to go. Just a vibrant vibe in one of my fave locations. Also, easy parking. If you know little to nothing about wine no worries he will teach you. Wish I owned this place! Great selection and pairing experience.
