Publix Super Market at Northwood Plaza

My go to grocery store. Very clean and well stocked with a large variety of items. The bakery is known for making the best cakes in the area. Great deli department. Produce is fresh with a money back guarantee. I can even get beautiful fresh flowers which I love to put in my kitchen. Just all around friendly helpful employees which makes shipping a pleasure.

O M G! The BEST cake that delivered EXACTLY what I asked for!!!!! We really wanted a cool cake for my daughters 18th birthday, that we could enjoy at home with the family. Just a simple little cake that embodied all her favorite things. The first bakery we went to had the sprinkles explosion cake, and though she doesn't like sprinkles we thought what a cool concept of the 'explosion'... a few days later we realized. NERDS. Would be so much better, she actually likes those. . So we ended up stumbling on this Bakery here because they were the only who could substitute the sprinkles for nerds.......when I tell you I was OVERJOYED when I picked up this cake, you still won't be able to picture my reaction. . . It was in the most amazingly adorable cake box, and it was EXACTLY what I had pictured when I ordered it!! The 'nerds explosion' worked as expected and the slightly tart candies went PERFECTLY with this cake and frosting!! My daughter could not stop smiling and that is what we look for in delivering a memorable birthday cake! Everyone loved how adorable and functional this cake was.......Thank you to all the bakers at this location who helped make this the most memorable cake yet!

This grocery store is always easy to shop at. Sometimes the parking can be a little crowded because the store can get crowded. I know it is not necessarily their fault, but prices seem to continually go up in the store. But overall it is high quality, especially the bakery, deli, and produce.

There are very few fried chicken recipes that rivall my wife's recipe for southern fried chicken. It's more a process not just a recipe. A kitchen disaster process in fact.
So, since my wife was visiting our baby granddaughter in another state and I missing both my wife and her home cooking, I found myself in a situation. I had my heart set on fried chicken. I was also aware how big a process this task that lay before was.
So after talking it out with my wife she suggested I run up to Publix and get some of their DELICIOUS fried chicken and a helping of their southern style potato salad-which I swear they stole from my mama.
DELICIOUS!! The chicken was just out of the fryer and the potato salad had the little slices of egg in it-just the way my daughter and I love it.
Problem solved.
Perfectly fried hot and delicious chicken with a cool side of our fav potato salad AND I'm not still cleaning up the kitchen. WIN-WIN!!

Publix is a great supermarket chain, and they have always been a great business both in practice and customer experience.

I had never been to this particular location before today and I have to say I'm quite impressed. It has a different layout than most the Publix stores that I've been to, and in a great way. Great staff as always and wonderful selection!

I like it a lot because people that work in the store are very helpful and take the time to show you the way when you need something with a smile and I feel good about that 😊

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of trying my first Deli Sub from Publix. Absolutely great! Has beat all the other joints hands down. Always nervous ordering online. It was right on par. Thank You for a great lunch.

It’s a well stocked Publix - especially with Lee made meals. I was able to get many varieties of pre made meals for the week here. Several cashiers open so lines moved on a Sunday. Photos as of March 2021.

I go to this store on a regular basis. Everyone I have ever had contact with while shopping has always been pleasant, and the store is kept clean.

Every time I come to visit my parents, I stop at a Publix and get a chicken tender sub. They are truly the best.
I do not know of any other grocer, having a following for their food.

It’s an old Publix with a mid 2000 design with no pharmacy and without the spacious modern feel of the newer designs but the produce, meat and bakery are fresh and the staff has some really terrific members!

Best place for all types of grocery. There are offers on Saturday which is the best deal

Remodeling again. Can't wait to see the new look and hear all the old people complain about change. They nearly lost their minds during the last remodel.

Prices are a little high, as they are in all Publix, but the service couldn't be better, and there's no beating the convenience of location.
I also really admire their business model and think they take pretty good care of their employees. The store is always clean and everyone working there is friendly and helpful.

Great staff, great store. Not so huge that it takes forever to shop. I think Publix tries to slightly customize each store's offerings to meet each local market. I've found that this store tends to carry a good addition of higher-line products as well as all staples.
And the staff are so well trained and accommodating!

Update: I've just begun using the Publix App and became a "member". Love this!
For example: I ordered ahead for pub-subs to be made MY way, and to be ready at a set time. They were perfect, delicious, and I spent 1 minute in the store walking over to pick them up and walking out. Shopping at Publix got MORE pleasurable!

This Publix is always a pleasant experience. The lines are short and move quickly, and the cashiers are always happy and helpful.

I live in the Westchase area but I was over in a different part of our neighborhood and decided to go into this Publix since I had just ate dinner across the street from it. This has to be one of the cleanest and nicest Publix's I have been in. Everything I look for they had and recently there have been times when the locations did not have what I was wanting. Highly recommend this location.
