The Pfister Hotel

I’ve always loved the Pfister, with its charm and history. Every part of the lobby is gorgeous and the lobby bar is a great place to observe it all. We stopped in on a chilly day in December to get some after work drinks, and really enjoyed the beautiful Christmas tree and people watching as we sipped.

The staff was all friendly and helped us make our drink decisions, I enjoyed the pumpkin chai martini and some Parmesan fries. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back for more!

Visited the lobby lounge recently and had an amazing experience! I had the pleasure of being served by Hope. She was attentive, bubbly, sweet, and efficient. Not only was the food sensational, but Hope really helped elevate the dining experience. Definitely will be back!

My sister and I stayed here while in town for our brother's wedding. From the moment we checked in, we received top notch service. Each and every employee we interacted with provided superb customer service. The above average training is evident, as is the pride that each employee takes in working for this beautiful hotel. Combine that with pristine grounds, immaculate accommodations, and amazing views, we couldn't have asked for a better stay! Thank you so much!

If you love an old historic hotel with superb service and soooooooo clean, this is your place!!! My husband and I couldn’t believe how beautiful, how clean, how super the customer service was. We stayed two nights and can’t wait to return. The views from the top floor lounge was bar none the best!!! We were visiting for a comedy show in the area and my dad grew up in this city, but we will be returning because it is a great get away destination. Old fashioned charm at its finest.

This was by far the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff here was extremely helpful and extremely nice! Like creepy kind of nice, like in a scary movie, but I'm from Chicago, and it might just be the people of Milwaukee kinda nice. I remember back in the 90s, we had a really good basketball dynasty, and I think Chicago people use to be this kind of nice, because they were happy. The Pfister brought me back to those happier days! Also, Google, P fister, with care, PG settings.

Best kept secret?! Booked a last minute room for one night at The Pfister. Just a casual trip with a friend but we were blown away upon arrival by the grandiose lobby and high painted ceilings. I love staying in historic hotels when I am traveling and this one was by far - my favorite to date. I ended up purchasing a book I loved it so much and wanted to know more. Darryl was the engineer who came and helped us with our TV when it wasn't working. He was so kind and helpful and it didn't go unnoticed. I will be back to The Pfister very soon. Next time I hope to stay more than one night so I can spend more time exploring the hotel's art on every floor!

Our recent stay at The Pfister Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, and I have a few exceptional staff members to thank for that — Alisa and Dina :).

Alisa, one of the butler staff members, deserves special recognition for making my husband's birthday stay truly magical. Her thoughtful gesture of sending a bottle of champagne and a delightful dessert to our room made our evening extra special. She even surprised us with some vouchers to use – a completely unexpected and thoughtful touch. Alisa's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our experience was exceptional did not go unnoticed. Her friendly and helpful nature truly left a lasting impression on us and played a significant role in our decision to extend our stay at this remarkable hotel.

Dina at the front desk has consistently been a delight over the years. Her professionalism, warmth, and willingness to go above and beyond for guests make her an outstanding representative for the business. We'll always remember the kindness and courtesy she showed us during our previous visit, and it was wonderful to see her again during this stay.

While The Pfister Hotel itself is remarkable due to its rich history and unique aesthetic, Alisa and Dina are the true gems that keep us coming back. Their exceptional service is a rarity. I would consider myself lucky to work with them any day, whether as a customer, coworker, or anything else. They are simply good people who clearly enjoy creating the best possible experience for anyone fortunate enough to interact with them.

Thank you to The Pfister Hotel for having such outstanding staff members who make every visit feel like a home away from home. We can’t wait for our next visit, thanks in large part to the wonderful experiences provided by Alisa and Dina.

5 stars aren’t enough. The Pfister is beautiful, magical and memorable. We can’t stop talking about our stay.

We thought it might be a bit “out of our league,” and we were pleasantly surprised to see how the staff warmly welcomes everyone into the circle of luxury.

From the breathtaking lobby (unlike any hotel lobby I’ve seen) to the extensive artwork collection and the incredible food at the restaurants- the Pfister is unmatched in every way.

We can’t wait to go back.

Gorgeous hotel with excellent customer service. Valet can be a struggle because of the limited room to pull in to get parked but they do their best and move things along quickly.

I have never had such a wonderful experience at a hotel. The Pfister is beautiful, historic and in a great location. ALL staff that I encountered were friendly and welcoming and greeted me like they were happy I was there. The VIP experience was amazing! I highly recommend this hotel for the service, elegance, cleanliness and experience.

First time to the hotel and what a nice experience. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room service for daily cleaning should have restocked the tissue and coffee but otherwise all was great

Beautiful hotel staffed with some amazing people. Every member of the staff we interacted with was sincerely concerned with our comfort and happiness. From the staff in The Lobby Bar (Daniel) to the lovely ladies at the Cafe and most certainly our dining experience at Mason Street Grill. Our server at Mason Street, Tyler, was as outstanding as the fabulous food, Tyler's dedication to service along with his wonderful personality truly enhanced our dining experience. And not to forget Isaiah, our server at Blu. He truly went out of his way to ensure we had a great time. Tyler and Isaiah are simply the benchmark for outstanding service. Highly recommend a visit to this lovely jewel in Milwaukee.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would come again if in the area in the future. Historically, it's incredible. It has the glitz and glam of the turn of the 20th century in the lobby and first several floors. The service was good - they have a butler service and we received a few texts asking if anything was needed or how they could assist. The only point of feedback (and maybe this is the norm with other places post-covid?) was that they didn't tell us to specifically request a cleaning/new towels (we only stayed two nights) so we had to call down and ask for a couple of fresh towels. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. We didn't try the cafe, but walking past it looked like they had really pretty pastries and serve Starbucks coffee. The view from the pool was gorgeous!

I had the privilege of staying at the Pfister last week. My boyfriend and I were in town from New York City visiting his family in Milwaukee and decided to stay at the pfister for a few nights. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, everything was fabulous. Major kudos to Briana who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She made sure to check on us :) Also thanks to Alex for helping us as well.

Lastly, we ate at the mason street grill which was fabulous! One of the best steakhouses we’ve ever eaten at. Thomas was an incredible server.

I enjoyed my time here. Checked in. They offered champagne upon checking in. My room was ready while my business partner had to wait. I love the safety feature of the key card to go to your floor. On the 16th floor, I had a great view. Ventured to the 23rd, and the indoor pool view was breathtaking. The gym was nice and had bottled water that was available. I believe it's a great place to make reservations. It was the center for all the events I had to attend.

Highly recommend especially around Christmas time. Decorated so beautifully. Everyone is dressed up so nice. The whole vibe is perfect. The music and the bar were so inviting as well. You would think you were in New York

First time here. We attended a birthday party for my wife's uncle. Very nice accomodations. Service was fantastic. Quality of the fare was top notch. Beautiful and historic building. My only complaint was that the meal was warm, not hot. I understand the difficulty to serve about 40 people at once, but it would've made the experience all that much better. Overall, I still would rate my experience 5⭐.

As always, a perfect getaway but comfortable like a home away from home. Service is always amazing and we are fond of Dragicia in the Club Lounge and Gianna in the Cafe. They are always working so hard and so kind to my kiddos. Much love to our Pfister family!

From the very second we walked in to the amazing views of this extraordinary hotel, to the amazing staff members,champaign at check-in, beautiful rooms, excellent food we felt like we we royalty! This charming hotel is a must! We will be back! Thank you to all at the Pfister establishment!

Beautiful, historic hotel in the middle of everything in downtown Milwaukee. While my family slept in the morning, I toured the grounds and just admired the decor. Very classy.

The service is top notch, with every employee I came across making me feel like a MVP.

The pool on the top floor offers great views of the city and fun for the kids. Be sure to stay here if you're in town for a sporting event, trust me.
