Capt Hirams Resort

It's right in the water. Fun vibes, great music, great beer, and the food looked amazing. I had a mango cart... now I have a new favorite beer on tap when I visit. They have a large riverfront with docks and 3 bars and restaurants... it was a very enjoyable time, Florida casual

Loved the place. We have been visiting since the early 90s. Great shrimp! ☺☀ celebrated my wife's birthday there. Loved it! Great service, feet in the sand, right at the river. Perfect vacation vibe ☀☀

Was a great experience. Eateries are right across from resort both are fish dishes but they also have burgers & salads. The drinks were awesome coconut breeze is nice after dinner drink hubby had beer. You can get bikes kayaks reserve for 3 different boat rides all within resort. Our kin room was spotless , bed was clean super comfy as and best was balcony to sit and watch sunrise was too cold when there for pool. The whole crew from check in, staff, hotel persons taking care of rooms to restaurant stuff were super great to check out

Overall it was a really nice place to stay right in the middle of everything. Clean room, walking distance to most things in Sebastian. My friend and I booked it since we were doing a fishing charter and didn't want to have to drive back to the Orlando area afterwards. There is a lot to do in the area from fishing to kayaking to renting a pontoon boat (you can get from Capt Hiram's). Food was pretty good, I recommend trying the Crab Toast. Drinks were well made. Pool was a good temperature. There are even a couple arcade games, one of them being Mrs Pac-man. Live entertainment was nice, we had a solo artist doing some covers and he even put his touch to a few them which was nice.

We stopped there since we were in the area and some friends of ours have been raving about how we absolutely have to go to Captain Hiram's. It's a really awesome place - the drinks were good and even though we didn't order food, what was coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

Visiting from PA we decided to give this place a shot for dinner. I was blown away by not only the food, but the atmosphere as well. Cliff was our waiter and he did an exceptional job. He was very personable and made us laugh multiple times. Would definitely return if we decide to visit Sebastian again!

Our waitress was so nice and friendly. She also took our order and we were server right away also she made sure our coffee was hot .She was the best.

HOW DO YOU PUT FEELINGS INTO WORDS?? We were so excited to go to Capt Hirams for the first time. Our plans were changed unexpectedly and it wasn't a good day biut decided to go anyway. We arrived late, I fought tears just speaking to the WONDERFUL girl at the front desk. I can not say enough good on how she treated me. The ONLY thoughts I had was overly happy I ran into such a great hearted person that made my HORRIBLE day so much better.. and then some. I believe you get what you give. I hope that good hearted girl gets ALL the good in the world because she was such a sweet girl. THEN, there's the rooms, the decor, the cleanliness, the food, the entertainment, the staff, the pool, the location, rhe amenities, the friendliness of the rest of the staff.....AMAZING PEOPLE AND ALL AROUND PHENOMENAL PLACE. Not far to go or do anything you can think of needing or wanting. We can't wait to go back!!! Thank you CANDICE and all the other staff that made us feel so wonderful.

All I can say is I'll be back. Loved my experience. Was a mix up on booking (my fault), but they were amazing and helped me solve the problem. Great staff..... Front desk was my saving grace.

The Captain checked all our boxes for location and amenities. Our room had a balcony And coffee. We walked to the 3 bars and tasted the flavors of each. Highly recommend for a laid back but fun stay.

It's a beautiful place. Plenty of bars, sand, food. The rooms were clean and large. We had an ocean view, but not oceanfront. Know the difference. 😁

Great hotel located on the water and across the street from the water. Recently renovated with an amazing tiki bar that frequently has live music. Friendly staff and people located in a fishing village with a drinking problem. We always have a great time here.

Wowza they have done an amazing job remodeling this resort. Rooms are better than Kimpton and Costa D’ Este over in Vero Beach. We stayed years ago and loved it but, they now mastered an island vibe and gorgeous clean hotel. Overwhelmed. Great place to stay. .new rooms are extremely clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Staff was all friendly.
The restaurant is attached which is island vibe bar food. Any review not 5 stars here is not reviewing the hotel.

I’ve been to dozens of bars in multiple states and the service I received from my bartender Gavin was unmatched not only was he attentive but also made a lively atmosphere for all of the patrons of the bar 10/10 service and I will definitely be back!

Very good vibe. The food was really good. They happened to be short staffed, so we waited a while for food, but it was still a great experience nonetheless.

Brought my wife for a casual night a little food music and of course a couple of beers and wine for her . Table location was excellent at the waters edge , sat away from the band but the music was good ,the service was most excellent Cliff our server quick service as we sat down not a wait for our drinks and our food order was spot on timing , the food was good oysters were cold food was hot and delicious . Beers Icey cold , our server was attentive and professional also had good conversation about the area and the menu real good wait staff I hope to come back soon on my travels again . It's busy at peak times, so be patient... The server is coming. Garlic old bay wings must try. You're welcome in advance. Here is where size doesn't matter they are small but mighty. Drinks and live music, awesome atmosphere, and friendly locals. Share your table and meet someone new. Sitting by the water feeling the breeze while soaking up the energy of this place is magical.

I can't speak to the rooms as we only dropped by for a bite to eat. Staff was very friendly, good was tasty. Enjoyed the view and the sand bar.

Dined at The Sandbar restaurant at Captain Hiram's resort. The location and the service are outstanding. They have done a great job of giving a Florida keys vibe to this Indian River location. Good food and good beer on tap as well.

New bartender Sheed was so nice and personable. First time here and had great conversation and was attentive to my needs. Room was soo clean it had a smell about it but overall super cool spot!
