I stumbled upon this cozy restaurant one evening, looking for a place that offered both great food and a lively atmosphere, and I was not disappointed. The moment I walked in, the warmth and charm of the place struck me. It felt like stepping into a friend's inviting dining room, complete with the buzz of conversation and laughter. The menu caught my eye with its array of American classics, each with a unique twist that promised a culinary adventure.

The live entertainment was the cherry on top. It turned what could have been just another dinner into a truly memorable experience, adding a vibrancy that's hard to find elsewhere. The staff were incredibly welcoming, treating me like an old friend rather than just another customer. My meal was delightful, from the first bite to the last, and the ambiance made me linger longer than I had planned. It was the perfect blend of casual comfort and refined dining, making me eager to return. This place isn't just about eating out; it's about enjoying every moment, surrounded by good vibes and even better company.

Creative lunch options were available. Delicious soup. We sat outside and enjoyed the downtown foot traffic. Reasonably priced. Excellent wait staff. Free parking in nearby public lot.

Came in for a late dinner and drinks. The place was packed, but we found a seat with friends. The music was good and Santa even made an appearance.

The food came out quickly and was very good. I had a Cuban sandwich. Wife has the margarita flatbread pizza. The bar service was equally quick.

I love this place both times the food has been fantastic, the service is excellent as well. They are very kid friendly, the kids portions are large and they lit up the stage and came up and told us our kids could dance. Overall a great time.

Stephanie our waitress was absolutely amazing! French Dip was so delicious, tender steak, bread was moist, aujus wasn't to salty. Jalapeno coleslaw was the best I've ever tasted. My wife really enjoyed the Margherita flatbed pizza. It was very flavorful. We will be back again before I stay is over.

Wife & I went in for a couple of cocktails & dinner. Food was EXCELLENT. Wife had French Dip. I had Margherita pizza. Everything was awesome. Live music 🎶 was great fun. Waitress was superb. Food was excellent. Lemon drop martinis also excellent. We had a blast.

I've dined here a few times and it's always great. Very diverse menu and the food is prepared perfectly. Great service and very clean. If you're sitting outside at night you can enjoy the music and people watching in Paddock Square.

Was seated right away and our server, Tegan, got our drink order shortly after we were seated. We ordered a chicken salad wrap and a French dip sandwich. Both were very good. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent. really enjoyed ourselves. The service was incredible! Tegan took very good care of us. She is what made the experience!

Ate outside twice...did not like inside which is too dark and cold. Enjoyed outside area and had the best Flatbread I've ever had.

Came all the way from Michigan to eat the black and blue flat bread. Dominic was an amazing waitress and Dale and amazing chef ♥

The food at City was beyond my expectations. I mostly eat pasta and I don't eat seafood. The only pasta dish they had on the menu was Cajun shrimp pasta. I asked if the could substitute shrimp and they were more than happy to. It was fantastic. I didn't taste any Cajun so I assume that shrimp is where they use Cajun seasoning but all in all it was delicious. Although, they did not adjust the price for chicken vs. shrimp and it was a $20 dish. They did bring me a beautiful warm baguette 🥖 when I asked for more bread though! My husband had the salmon special and he was extremely happy with the dish. Two meals, 3 Manhattans and an ice tea (unlimited) was around $70 before tip. I did 4 stars on service and atmosphere because they were very busy but didn't seem to have adequate staff. It took a long time to get our servers attention but, he was an amazing server, totally not his fault. The rest of the staff that we interacted with was also very pleasant. The manager came out and talked to tables which is always nice to see. Cudos to the kitchen staff too!!

A slick clean restaurant with a varied menu. Hostes and waitress were pleasant and cheerful. During the meal the manager came to our table and introduced himself and ask how we liked our meal. We will be in the Villages for another month and I plan to return.

Fantastic. A bit dark in there at night, but great food and karaoke! Loved the flatbread with pear and honey mustard.

Sooo much fun! I was here during Derby Day. City Fire held raffles, hat contests, and live music. The surf and turf was flavorful with the Kentucky Derby favorite, Mint Julep at 1/2 price. Service was great and the people were friendly.

Love City of Fire! Bartenders awesome and wait staff... Great Food! Have fun always!

This is probably the most popular restaurant in Lake Sumter Landing. Service is excellent and the menu has some great food choices.
