Hey. I'm giving this place 5 stars based on tonight. They had the best country band I've heard in a long time.
Also had a great waitress, the food was good and drinks were kept full. Place was full and we shared a table with a very nice couple. 5 star all the way.
OK, it's Monday 10 23 2023. Another review popped up. It's open mic by Luke. Place it packed. Entertainment is great.

OK, this restaurant lured me in with a free birthday dinner resulting in a future customer. The chicken dinner was absolutely fantastic. My wife had a shepherd's pie which was very good. We both agreed the food tasted like homemade and it was probably the best meal we have had since moving here. There is a bowling alley attached which will try at a later date. Thank you and see you again soon.

10/10/23. What an awesome time we had. We had the fresh fried chicken dinner and it was just what the heart needed. All the fried goodness. The waitress "Erica" was friendly and attentive. I would just go back there to have her be our waitress again. Thanks.

Great food, great service and great company. Entertainment was exceptional.
The wait was extra long because the kitchen got backed up. They didn't seat people until they got things under control. That was the only disappointing part.

I would give it a 5 but it was way too busy the day we visited! Drinks were good and chilled. Bathrooms were clean and staff were all polite and friendly too. They communicated in a timely manner and made sure we were taken care of! We would love to go back when they are less busy at different day and time of the week.

Love the small town atmosphere! Tuesday night jam session is a blast with excellent variety of seasoned musicians! The only reason we go! The African American Sax Player crushes it! Located 1 minute walk from SS Square.

Super fun place locate inside bowling with front access. Great drink special. Live music and dancing. Service is great with Michelle bartender but Maggie bartender says she has thirty years experience but has no knowledge of guest service and hospitality Maggie is lacking in kindness and pleasant service should work for a Isis base so she can treat enemy with hate. Doesn't surprise she gets no tips saw many guests give her nothing with no smile like hers. Owner needs to teach her to respect her guests. But Michelle makes up for her short comings. Place itself is fun try to seat at table to enjoy yourself and dance. Please visit lots of staff that are very kind.attach to Spanish springs bowling.

The food. Me and my girlfriend shared a plate of fried chicken that's supposed to be awesome and it was! So crispy and if you're Spanish you know chicharones which is what the skin was really delicious. On Tuesdays they have amazing music with a jam session so really talented musicians step in and play different songs. Such a great time!

This is our dance club. We go for Boggies and Blues which happens once to twice a week. But there's music pretty much every night, such as country and other dance music by popular artists. Every night can be dance night here.
There fried chicken is pretty much famous and draws people from all over the area. On a nice day we go here for lunch and eat on their patio to enjoy the outdoors and people watch.

Great service, never had to ask for a drink refill. Got the Thursday special which was a Gyro with fries. Best bargain for amount of food. Meat was substantially portioned on Gyro and I got a ridiculous amount of fries too for $9.99.
Best lunch special in The Villages IMO.

Tuesday night is blues night and Thursday is country music it is a blast, good wings great staff . See you there

We were there on a Friday evening and dined outside. Beverly was our waitress and we loved her! She was always smiling and very friendly. We ordered traditional wings and the Beef on Weck. The wings were excellent and the beef sandwich was probably the best we have had at a restaurant. The bun was different than any we have eaten and was delicious, and the beef was very moist. The menu is limited, but I prefer a limited menu done well to a large menu with mediocre food. There was a live band inside. Our bill was just under $50, but that included 2 drinks (which were pricey). It would have been $30 without drinks. We highly recommend McCall's!

Every Thursday is Country Music night w/ The Dwight Tucker Band. Classic Country Music 7:00 till 10:00.

We have always loved McCalls for their fried chicken. First visit since the change in ownership. We arrived just as they were opening on a Sunday and so she told us they weren't yet geared up with staff and recommended we sit close to the bar. It was too cold outside. We were waited on reasonably, and anticipating the cooking time, ordered our chicken with our drinks. Food was excellent. Staff accommodating.

They are so reasonably priced it's crazy!
We split ( my husband and I) the world famous fried chicken dinner, and they really do have amazing chicken!
For 15.99 you get a half chicken ( fried , leg, thigh, breast, wing with mashed n gravy & roll) and we still took home a to go meal! Service inside and out was great. Don't forget to leave plenty of time to enjoy their bowling alley and just walk around the square! We always enjoy a full day!

Bev is the best. Short on staff but she always has a smile on her face. Goes the extra mile. We LOVE Bev. She's the reason we come back.
