Arte Caffe

This cafe is still here in the Village of the Arts after 9 years. Very,very unique with great food and coffee(very smooth espresso). The owner is from Italy and he uses very high quality ingredients.
Menu is quite extensive. There are bakery items, market products, pizza, salads, as well as, 10 different pasta dishes.
Very funky and eclectic establishment. Some of the owners collection of sports memorabilia and some toys are displayed.
Highly recommended.

We had a group of 10. For large groups they do family style. The dishes were very good, a true testament to the chefs skills. However, despite the excellent food, the service left a bit to be desired. The waitress was a bit brash which detracted from our overall experience. While the food makes it worth a visit, a little improvement in attitude would make it much better.

The best Italian food we’ve ever had! When we told the waitress we came to the restaurant expecting to have the seafood pasta, but was not on the menu, she spoke with the chef and made a special accommodation for us. The seafood pasta was beyond our expectations and the Verduce pizza was the best we’ve ever had. The rigatoni was also delicious, and we could tell everything was fresh and good quality. The portions were so generous that we had to take leftovers to go. We liked the homey atmosphere and friendly service. Overall very pleased our experience and would definitely return.

Decided to try this place one night. It is a super quaint spot and the owners are super friendly. I had ordered something that they ended up being out of. The chef made me a special plate that wasn’t on the menu. Everything was great! #sunshinereviews

Wonderful food in a small and unique environment. Recommend to visit during early afternoon otherwise reservations are required.

Cute little place with delicious food. Not a huge menu but everything was amazing!

We got lucky to get their only open table for the evening. I had never heard of this family owned restaurant until half an hour before we arrived there and so I wasn’t sure what to expect but was cautiously optimistic. When you sit to eat, it feels like you’re in your Aunts house; so lovely!

Now, I’m writing this review well over two months later so I’m sorry but I can’t remember what was ordered or even the name of the lovely people running the place. However, I do remember that we were both quite happy with our meals and our decision to eat here. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be coming back and telling all our friends about it!

Found through Google. It is everything I expected and more... The food (no condiments needed), the music and the vibe was amazing. My complements to the chef... Thank you for what you do... My Dad and I really enjoyed our lunch experience. Will definitely be back.

We are visiting from out of town. We ran across this place by chance. It is so good!!! All the food we got was delicious! The owners are so nice and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend the short rib ravioli or Pappardelle 4 cheese!

Prepare to taste Italy. This is the closest you’ll get to grandma’s kitchen - so you better make a reservation! Parties of six or more can have a family style dinner just like mama makes: Generous portions and an amazing atmosphere, Meredith and Remo deliver an unforgettable experience and food to match. We love coming here and, if your dinner runs late, you may even meet Oliver! No review could do this place true justice, just check it out for yourself!

If I could give this place a 10 star I would. I’m not Italian, but I’m very familiar with real Italian flavors and this place is a WOW! Food hugs your soul and immediately transports you straight to Italy 🇮🇹 Meredith and her husband “the chef” are just amazing, welcoming and attentive. I really felt I was eating en la casa de la nona. Make sure you make a reservation as this is a very old home in the Bradenton art district area and space is limited. I can’t wait to go back with my family ♥

Make a reservation & SO worth a small wait for this chef husband & wife team. Cheese platter for appetizer, porchetta & provolone sandwich & caprese sandwich. Homemade breads, imported cheeses & balsamic glazes. SO GOOD! Bravo bravo!

A very eclectic and intimate restaurant. The locally hand crafted art pieces and sculpture are captivating. The owners are unpretentious and present with all the clients. I had penne with meat sauce my friend had the crabmeat ravioli special. Fantastic! The entire experience feed body and soul. Thank you.

Wonderful Pizza, real Italian taste... By far, the best Pizza in Town.
I will back soon for the Pasta, but if the chef can make great Pizza like he does, I don't have any doubt about pasta....
Only If you love real Italian food taste, Arte Caffe it's the Place to go...
Forget about American/Italian fake Menú with Fettuccini Alfredo, or spaghetti meatball... You can't find this here, simpli because this dishes are not Italian.

A gem of a place in Village of the Arts! I have eaten here at Arte Cafe many times since they opened and highly recommend them. From impressing VIP's visiting the area to family pizza in between trick-or-treating at the Village's annual event, the team at Arte consistently delivers some of the highest quality food in the 941 area.

The owners are a joy to work with and we have celebrated many important milestones here, from major events for my organization to small, personal moments like a going-away dinner for family we won't see again for a long time. Each time, the experience is exactly right - the food is delicious, the pace of service not too fast, not too slow, and the ambiance of Arte is conducive to important conversations.

Heaven on Earth!!! We had the most amazing meal here. The photo is " Short Rib Ravioli " in a meat sauce. It was SO tender, it melted like butter in my mouth! The Bellini was great too but dessert,.......ONLY the BEST Tiramisu I have ever eaten!!

If you have a party of six or more they will do family style were they just bring you courses. The food is incredible and the ambiance is small village European. The owner/chef even came out to greet us and talk about some of the dishes we just had the pleasure of consuming. They have wine and beer list but WELCOME you bringing anything you want without hassle or corkage fees.
There is a review that says that it is too long and too expensive. Yes, this many courses in this environment takes a while - that is part of the beauty of this dining experience. Too expensive ?? You have to be comparing it to iHOP or something. The price for the amount and quality of food you receive is MORE than reasonable and if you are doing family style they even pack up (nicely) all the leftovers for you to take home,
Can't wait to take some more friends here. A true gem on a small side street!
