ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I've live in this city for over several score of years and NEVER knew about this glorious find. Sick and tired of corporate grocery stores, sterile produce, I took it upon myself to find the best produce store in Milwaukee. Find it I did.

The store is immaculate with vegetables from all over the America's, many of which I have never heard, but will experiment at will. Hot peppers of all varieties, fruits that explode in your mouth like the bottom of a waterfall, veggies that actually have flavor...I could go on and on but the attached pictures will speak a million words...what they won't say, is how nice and humble ALL the workers are...with beautiful atmospheric upbeat Latin music to casually stroll the many, many, aisles, of the colorful spectrum of produce...it will dazzle your eyes and make you reach for your camera!

A bonus...you don't have to worry about parking...Pete's Fruits have a gated parking lot with plenty of space. This is a FIVE star experience. I hope that you heard it here first....I just love to share good things.

The produce, meats, deli and much more is so reasonably priced! They sell fruit and vegetable items in baskets which are coming close to expiration, May have a bruise or are not perfect for pennies on the dollar compared to most food stores! I’ve bought cases of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries for between the cost of $4.00-6.00, per case when normally a single pint of the 12 pints in the case would cost 2.99 alone at most stores! The baskets of Peppers, asparagus,tomatoes,grapes,oranges, and many other varieties of fruits/veggies range between $1.00 -3.00. Cases of bananas for $3.00-5.00. The fresh meats are great and the prices can hardly be beat. The deli offers traditional foods prepared daily! I love their Chicharróns. The staff is friendly and assertive to your needs! I wish I would have known about Pete’s long before I had! They can order tough to find items on request! The variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at this store are not common in a lot of other chain stores!

Most produce looked fantastic. They had some baskets that were clearly on their last legs but they were priced accordingly at just $1.

I got 2 cases of strawberries, and around 5 pounds each of brussel sprouts and zucchini all for less than $14. Great value! Plenty of parking and several staff were friendly and greeted me with smiles.

One of the best places I've been to their food is awesome and you get your money's worth when it comes to the vegetables and fruit baskets

Always a great place for fruit and veg. Decent meat dept. Smaller selection of groceries, good selection of Hispanic spices and goodies. Always a great deal on baskets of fruit that needs to be consumed asap. I bought a case of blueberries last week for 4$. Melons are good, fresh and sweet.

Wow! I spent $20 and cannot fit all the produce into my refrigerator! I will be freezing some of the fruit and canning the tomatoes

Since moving to the southside 4 years ago, finding Pete's Fruit Market is a steal! Amazing prices as far as fruits, veggies! They also have a decent size grocery store with some important staples! O ly thing that I do not care for is their ice cream 1/2 gallons are damn near 8-9$ and that is too expensive! One day I walked to the store and wanted ice cream, bread, butter and I forgot what else but I didn't know how much their ice cream was at the time and I paid for it not realizing I went over budget and I had to walk back to the store and return the items because of how expensive the ice cream was. But over all, this store is awesome!! :-)

So we stumbled across this place and it has become our favorite grocery store in town. Everything they have is fresh and taste great. But also, they have all the varieties you would need along with a great price. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming.

First time shopping there and the staff where great. Even those it was closest closing time they still help me find what I was looking for. Cactus fruit, They also have a nice variety of fruits and vegetables

If you are going to make something big, this place is the best! Great deals on produce at its peak freshness. Can't wait for the new location to open this summer

They have BUCKETS of lemons and grapes. Peppers, tomatoes, everything and anything produce. A very nice lady, a customer had warned me that my money was going to fall out of my back pocket. Thought that was REALLY nice!!

Great variety of fruits and vegetables. Produce is moved quickly by virtue of bargain baskets. Mexican specialties, a nice meat department, and a deli that mixes up amazing "jugo verde".

Pete's Fruit Market is an awesome place to shop. There's an excellent amount of different varieties and unique produce to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good. I enjoy shopping in the morning time and appreciate the helpful staff members professionalism and politeness. I'm a repeat customer and will definitely be going back to shop on a regular basis.

Love Pete's shop there weekly. Great deals if you get it at the right time ... Early morning, when they first open and have marked them down for the day is the best time!

I love Pete's Fruit Market! They have spectacular produce deals, and I couldn't believe how much I could get! I love the fact I can get my favorite condiments (Hot sauce is life), and also a lot of staples! They have a giant section for just spices and herbs. In addition, they have a whole wall dedicated just to rice and grains. they also have great deals on meats and seafood!
