Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

Fun family destination! Or if you’re solo traveling. Lots to do. The village has something for everyone. The pools are clean and the resort is right on the water. Definitely returning.

I'm a multi-diagnosis cancer patient. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and aware of what services were available for me. I was there to attend a retreat and had a wonderful experience. The only detractors were the thresholds in our unit were about a 1/4" higher than the floors. Stubbed my toes several times, but not bad enough to need medical attention. Staff was not aware (by our own oversight) that I was using a rollator and were very concerned about my safety. However, even if I wasn't using assistance equipment, the thresholds could cause a fall. An item ticket was filed the second I mentioned it to staff. No one said, "we'll look into it later." Or anything dismissive like that. They brought out the form, filled it out for me right there, and took it straight to the front desk for me.

Otherwise, the unit was clean, comfortable, and beautiful! The appliances were all in great shape and in working order. I could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Sorry, I didn't take pics because we were sharing the unit, and I respected their request for no pics.

I spent the day on the golf course. Niya, the cart girl, was just a DREAM! She made sure my drinks were full, cold, and kept coming. She also gave me really good restaurant, shopping, and entertainment recommendations. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful resort if you can! Everyone is so welcoming and wonderful!

This place is a golfers paradise! 4 courses in one resort ranging from easy to moderate difficulty. The raven and Burnt Pine are amazing, highly recommend. We always stay in a 4 bedroom villa and they are immaculate.

It was a great place to stay. So many things to do for all ages and great restaurants and bars. Definitely check out Rum Runners, Ruby Slipper Cafe, Moo La La and the boutique shops.

This is the ideal vacation resort if you're out with family, friends, or work conferences. The only downside to some of the rooms is that they don't have USB ports. Other than that, they are clean, have plenty of parking, many different housing options, Beautiful properties, and a well equipped fitness center. One more personal downside - the fitness center is open 7a-6p, not ideal if you're there for work. I prefer an early AM workout.

Right on the beach and there’s so much to do on the grounds that you don’t have to even leave the resort. There is tons of local shopping and restaurants and the resort offers a shuttle that runs every half hour.

Right on the beach with shopping & restaurants within a short drive. But there are also wonderful restaurants and a shop right on the property so you really don't need to leave the resort during your stay if you choose not to. And another plus - there is an excellent hospital so very close should you need it.

This resort is 2500sqft really nice they have their own shopping areas and restaurants we ate at slick lips the oysters are fire. Parking was a Lil weird but I was able to charge my Tesla so that was plus. They do not have charge stations I used my on charger. Will definitely be back here

This was my boyfriend and I’s first time going on vacation to Florida together so we were a bit nervous but everything turned out amazing at the end! We will def be returning to this resort, and let me tell you why! When we first arrived to the welcome center, the representative greeted us warmly and called transportation to drive us up to our stay. The driver introduced us to different parts of the resort and got us to our stay quickly. Our stay was clean and spacious. The tram was the free transportation offered daily and would normally pick us up at our stay within 15 minutes. The beach and Baytowne were both only a 5-8 minute drive away and had many shops/dining spots to choose from. On our last day at the resort, our plane departed until 7PM but check-out was at 10AM so we called the welcome center and they were happy to hold our luggage while we enjoyed the last few hours of our vacation which was very convenient. Thank you Sandestin for the amazing experience!

We stayed in the Bayside condominiums: room was clean and good size (double queen beds). Love that it’s secure, family friendly & has tons of amenities to offer. You don’t have to leave the resort unless you just want to. Beach access, pools, rent golf carts, visit the marina, golf & more! Staff was lovely and accommodating!

Amazing place with high rise hotels and gated houses. All guarded and if you are informed you choose a place with a golf kart. It’s all high end so a bit more expensive but it’s worth of all.
The beach is AMAZING and the sand is maybe the best I ever felt

We loved our stay! Fabulous location and you really don’t have to the hotel if you don’t want to-everything you need is on site. Room was great- large and bed was so comfy! We will definitely be back!

Condo was great! Quick access to the beach and easy access to everything you need within 5 minutes.

This was the perfect little stop for me and the kiddos. The rooms were nice and clean. It is like. 7min drive from the beach, but that wasn't an issue for us. There is a text service for towels, which was a little slow. We left our room after requesting towels, and the hospitality team left them in our room while we were out. Check-in was long. They should try to streamline this process. After traveling, waiting in another long line is not something we wanted to do, but we checked into our room in about 45 mins. There are a lot of restaurants and things to do on the resort. We enve got a free ice cream cone on arrival!

I had the pleasure of staying at Sandestin Golf Resort and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The place where we stayed was absolutely awesome. We went there for our long weekend including Memorial Day. From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by how clean and nicely furnished everything was. It truly set the stage for a memorable and relaxing vacation.
One of the highlights of our stay was exploring the vast grounds of the resort using the golf cart. It was such a fun and convenient way to get around. We were able to visit various places within the golf resort, including Publix, Evercrisp, and other shopping centers. The convenience of having these amenities nearby made our stay even more enjoyable.
One of the things that made our accommodation stand out was the lovely patio and grill. We had the opportunity to cook our own meals and savor them outside, taking advantage of the perfect weather and gentle breeze. It added an extra touch of tranquility and allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of our surroundings.
Moreover, the house we stayed in provided us with water tubes and other beach essentials. This thoughtful gesture made our beach outings even more exciting. We had a blast playing with the provided items and enjoying the crystal-clear waters of the beach.
I can't recommend Sandestin Golf Resort enough. The fantastic cleanliness, impeccable furnishings, convenient golf cart access, lovely patio and grill, and thoughtful amenities all contributed to an unforgettable vacation experience. If you're looking for a place to unwind, indulge, and create lasting memories, this is the perfect destination. I can't wait to return!

This was our second time staying here. The view was fantastic; we loved the walkability and pet friendly atmosphere. Many amenities were included, and the concierge service was receptive to our needs. Nicholas in particular was a great representative for the front desk and we felt welcomed by a friend as opposed to an employee.

Been going for a couple years now. We absolutely love it. It’s right on the gulf, the beach is perfect, the wharf is a fun place. We plan to keep going as long as we can Everyone is friendly and you can take a shuttle to get around the property. There’s grocery stores close by if you need it.

Great location. Breakfast was incredible with the lady that served us was "art in motion" cooking 6-8 omelets & 3 waffles at a time.
Only item that was rated down was the room. The heating/air had several problems and the mattress showed its age & could have been updated.
The conference facilities were great, as well as gym & pools.
