Came here on a Tuesday night with a group of around 40, all of us in the area for a conference. Could not believe how packed McGuire's was on a Tuesday in the off-season. Can only imagine it during prime season! Plan ahead, because it is totally worth the wait. The place is just one of those local cool locales you have to go to when in town. It is a huge complex, with inside/outside bars, multiple seating areas, gift shop, sushi place (!!??), butcher shop, and hilarious restrooms... Just crazy how much is in one spot. Parking is sporty, but lots of it in a bunch of disjointed areas around the location. Again, plan for a wait, but once seated our service was outstanding--friendly, and fast with both drinks and food (kitchen must be huge). To top it off, the food across the board was actually excellent--a rarity for something in a tourist area. Everyone's plate of food looked great and all praised their dishes. The reputation is well-deserved. Great first impression and will definitely be back when next in the area.

We had a great time listening to the live music with an Irish twist. The server was very attentive. We ordered the beer cheese chips for an appetizer. They didn't skimp on the portion size. It was enough to feed 6 people. For the entree, we ordered the 12 ounce steak filet cooked medium one with a baked potato and salad. The other with the garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The steaks were cooked to perfection. I found it strange to put nutmeg in the spinach and mashed potatoes, but they both were good. The vibe was really upbeat. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

This restaurant was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! It's definitely a must try! The environment is so nice, and the decorations are top tier. They have live music which we love! The food is phenomenal!!!
Keep in mind that their plates and sizes are HUGE!!!! You can definitely share one plate for two or have dinner and lunch for the next day. Service was also amazing. Tuesdays are $5.99 Martinis, and they are incredibly good. You must try the strawberry one if you like fruity drinks. Overall, 100% recommended. Don't forget to ask for a marker and stapler so you can leave your dollar in the wall! (;

Will definitely come back when I visit Destin again!

This place is so fun! The Irish coffee brunch is great and our waitress Ann-Marie was wonderful. Good price, quality food, and great atmosphere. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the Destin area.

McGuire’s was wonderful! Hannah D was our server and she was just the sweetest, which definitely made our experience better. I asked for gluten free options and she went and got a separate menu for us and made sure to take precautions for allergies. The food was so delicious, probably the best Caesar salad I’ve had and that was just a side to my steak. My husband had the Shepherds pie and loved it. Will for sure come back here when we’re in town!

11/11- This was my second time coming here and like always it was definitely a great experience. We had some Apps and Bean Soup 🍜. They did bring you bread 🥖 to share at the table while you wait for your food. I had the corn Beef and Cabbage 🥬 and my Husband had a cheeseburger 🍔 that also looked very delicious. This place does get packed so expect a little wait but you won't have to wait long to be seated. There is a bar you can go sit & have a few drinks. There is seating outside as well. Parking is a little rough but you can find parking in the parking lot or public parking that's right next door and the side street. There is a gift shop that I highly recommend. I would say it is a little dark so, if you have trouble seeing just hold on to someone while you walk. I highly recommend for a great date night and family outing.

A rather unique place. It was recommended by a local. The inside has some great decorations. I had the wedge salad and lamb chops. Have to say great meal.

This place not only is a conversation in itself, it's a culinary dining experience. From the 2.5 million in single dollar bills stapled to every blank spot on the wall and ceiling and then over lapping by the 10s in places, to the service of amazing staff, and the food.. let me tell you about the food.. the flavors of everything ordered was like a Carnival in your mouth. The reuben soup served in a sourdough bread, the "trash" appetizer of smoked ribs bits, to the black wheat bread appetizer, the reuben sandwich that was almost 3" tall packed with corned beef, and the Pork Chops dipped in Jameson whisky leaves you saying nothing but OMG every time you take a bite of something.. This place is an ABSOLUTE MUST no matter what during your trip to Destin FL... you will not be disappointed.. and have room for leftovers because there is no shortage on quantity.. and did I mention they jave their own butcher shop. So all cuts of meat are A++ in my book!

If I could give this restaurant more stars I certainly would! I love this place! Everything was great! The food was plated very well. It all looked so good it was hard to make up your mind, and it tasted even better. The service was just as good as the food and the atmosphere. I was fascinated watching all the people doing their jobs. It was like watching a well oiled machine working. Everyone had a part and they all executed it very well. Great job everyone! Thank you! If you come to Destin and you don't go to McGuire's, you are truly missing out!

This is definitely not your traditional Irish Pub!! McGuire was one of the first restaurants to open in the 70s in Destin. They have an excellent menu selection. They have a butcher shop attached and make some of the best steaks we've had. They wet marinate the meat for 28 days and it just melts in your mouth. Customers have traditionally left $1 bills and over the years, it has become a staple in their decor...amounting to $3M dollars!!! The rueban egg rolls are delicious. The ribeye with mashed potatoes phenomenal. The house table bread soaked in honey butter...ahhh, I'm a sucker for good bread! This place is a must try when you're visiting. They have ample parking too much is a bonus!

We passed McGuires and assumed it was a tourist trap. After checking the online reviews, however, it was clear we had to eat here. We came a bit early to take advantage of happy hour and were overall blown away by the experience. You have heard about the decor - the unicorn is my favorite. The dollar bills are a bit mind blowing to see that many ones on display. Our server, and I’m sorry I forgot her name, was simply wonderful. Gone are the days of customer service for many establishments but not McGuires! Our server made us feel like we were at a high end, very expensive dining establishment. She didn’t rush us and offered her best advice for dishes and drinks for us to try. Every suggestion was spot on. I just love that we got to have an experience here, not just a meal. The bread…. My goodness. We had the egg rolls which were very tasty. Was hesitant to try the 18 cent soup but it was delicious and even our picky daughter liked it! My husband and son had giant 3/4 lb burgers and you can tell they’re made fresh. I had Shepard’s Pie and it was delicious and enormous. The portions were huge and we had leftovers. I felt the prices were quite fair for what you get - especially in this economy. We are heading back for a second meal this week before leaving the area - that’s how much we liked it!

This place was incredible! Everything from the cool and dark ambiance to the service and most importantly, the food. We started off with a beer flight and a porter. Then tried the $.18 bean soup. It was really good! We ordered the corned beef and cabbage and the steak and mushroom pie. Both excellent but the pie definitely wins! Amazing depth of flavor, richness, and incredible flaky crust. The service was great and we really enjoyed the experience. It's the best Irish themed food I've ever had! Also, it's so affordable for the quality of the food! I highly recommend this place! It's a must if you are in the area!

This was our first time trying out this popular restaurant. Loved the $1 bills plastered throughout the restaurant especially the ones in the front that are saved for Air Force pilots. The food was great! The bean soup is a staple and for .18 cents unless that’s the only item you get which turns to $18.00. This is definitely worth taking the family out to enjoy a nice dinner. Parking is super tight!

This place was amazing! Our waitress was very nice, the food was great! I would recommend the root beer float. Also make sure to read the fine print on the bathroom sign so you don't accidentally go into the wrong one.

This place is amazing! We are out of state from Utah and this place did not disappoint. We had to wait an hour to be seated but that was during peak dinner time at new year. If you go after 8 or 9 pm you probably don’t have to wait long. The root beer is asap ING as well.

I’m not sure where to begin! Which was better, the service or the delicious food! The 18 cent soup was lovely and my husband had the best steak ever! It was the Molly cut filet. Jerome provided stellar, friendly service. We will be back in a few days during our Destin stay. Great management team!

This place is amazing! We got there around 3pm and were seated immediately. Our server EM was very nice and did an amazing job! The honey wheat beer was so good! I highly recommend the pretzel (big enough to share) and French onion soup to start. The corned beef and cabbage is out of this world! Large portion, so I took half home. Food came out quickly, and EM kept our water glasses fresh. I will tell you when we were leaving, the line was out the door, and the parking lot was crazy! So get there early! Best food in Destin!

While we didn't eat here, the drinks and atmosphere were great. The staff were really attentive and had a great conversation with us. The décor is a talking point that is for sure! A great location with plenty of parking.
Update Sept 10, 2023. Ate here last night at last. Food was actually delicious. The portion sizes are ridiculously big, we shared a spinach and artichoke dip to start and it could have fed both of us for a main. Was very nice though. I then has fish, shrimp and chips. Tasted a lot better than it looked, the fish looked like it had come from a cardboard box- but tasted great. The sushi my friend had was a hit too. Lovely wait staff too.

Our server Autumn was so helpful and friendly! I would request her everytime if we lived locally. The prices intimidated but then we saw the portion sizes! Definitely will share if we ever come again as we took a lot of food home.

How have I lived here for my whole life and never visited this place? I think it was because there's always a line outside. Had some friends in from out of town and they demanded to go here. We actually got sick very quickly even though there were tons of people in line. The waiter went above and beyond. Even though they were packed he took his time and explained everything to us. The food was amazing! We had all ages in our group and everybody left satisfied and happy. The atmosphere, well I guess you already know. With the ceiling being covered in over a million dollars in one dollar bills it made for a great conversation over dinner. Oh, and don't forget the 1 lb cheesecake for dessert. Oh delicious
