Rusty's Bistro

We are picky customers. We weren’t sure we’d have the best experience at this place being it is currently rated 4.2. Usually we seek 4.5 restaurants or higher. But alas, we are staying at the hotel and after a day of sun, we were wanting something convenient so we decided to give Rusty’s Bistro a try. Wow! So glad we did! From the moment we stepped in the pretty blonde hostess welcomed us with a warm smile and got us seated promptly. The gentleman serving our table was outstanding. Very knowledgeable on the menu and helped us make the right selections. I had the seared scallops, hubby got the rib eye. Kids ordered cheeseburgers and grilled steak kabobs off kids menu. The food was perfect! Every bite mouth watering delicious! We decided to get desserts as well, and they didn’t disappoint either. Giving this place five stars! Ambiance, service; food, wine and drinks! All amazing!! You won’t regret eating here.

We just celebrated my mother-in-law 86th. Birthday in this gorgeous Bistro. The food was absolutely amazing!!!. Everything in it, may I say. First we tried some of the starters. We recommend the Calamari Piccata and the Caramelized Trumpet Mushrooms. Then, after making those disappear, we went ahead with the main course entrees. Seared Scallops for the wifey, the Crab stuffed Gulf Grouper with a to die for Mediterranean Risotto for mom-in-law, and the pan seared Bone-in Veal Chop for yours truly. None of them let us down. That was a superb experience all of it's own. All cooked and seasoned to perfection, including the sides. Desserts, we tried the Limoncello cake and the Expresso Crème Brûlée. Absolutely incredible...!!! Kudos to the Chefs.
Service was done with care, kindness, politeness and excess of professionalism. Maria and Walter were simply the best.
Atmosphere was nice, calm and very pleasant.
We will be back for more!!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Geraldine, our hostess and Walter, our very professional and polished server were awesome! We felt like pampered and valued customers. Jason, the manager stopped by; and we had only great things to say about his establishment! Thank you all for a wonderful dining experience!

Dinner tonight was fabulous! We were surprised there was not a wait for this place! The food was so fresh- unique flavors, large portions, and wonderful presentation. Our server, Randy, rocked! He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Jamie, the maître d’, ensured everyone was taken care of- staff and customers. All around fantastic experience and the highlight of our stay in Sand Key. Everything was delicious, but I cannot say enough about the delectable crab cakes, spring salad, and pasta pappardelle (tender pasta with blue crab, scallops, and shrimp- so good!).

I am staying in the sheraton sand key resort and decided to try this restaurant. I had Walter as my waiter and he gave us an outstanding experience and was very welcoming. The food was delicious and made with great care. I had keylime pie for the first time, it was delicious 😋. I recommend that if you are staying here, you should not try anything else, definitely eat here. It is worth every bite.

This hidden treasure within the Sheraton hotel had an amazing menu with creative and delicious dishes from appetizers to dessert. Cocktails were fabulous. Most of all, our server Blake was informative, accomodating and a great pleasure!

It's a hotel restaurant so don't expect much in the way of atmosphere but the food was excellent. Decent wine list all California and the service was quick and acceptable. Nice place to eat if you're traveling.

Our waitress was lovely; genuinely endearing. The atmosphere was enchanting. Most importantly, the food was yummy.

We enjoyed their Thanksgiving menu. I had the Prime rib and my wife had the turkey dinner. It's not the lowest price in town, but all three courses were delicious. We'll go again next year. Cheers

Best food in Clearwater! Everything was good! Gauranteed to leave with an excellent experience! Steak was perfectly cooked, seafood amazing, appetizers excellent!

We had a birthday dinner there and Martin was our server. Excellent service and the food was incredible.

Hidden gem of Clearwater. We were staying at the Sheraton and came here for breakfast every morning, and we celebrated my sons birthday here. They were very accommodating and the food was the best food I had the entire trip, even better than Disney!!! Still thinking about it. 10/10 loved it!!!!!!

Beautiful ambiance and helpful staff. I had the rare steak and crab cake and was so tender and delicious . We will definitely be back to this fine establishment.

Outstanding dishes and dinner service.
Our waiter added a whole new dimension to the dishes, the story of the plating arrangement: a view from above with the scallops being umbrellas on the beach with the cauliflower puree as the sand etc.

The calamari appetizer is out of this world.

Their breakfast buffet is absolutely worth it, all items are high quality and with one main dish on rotation so it's worth coming every morning.

Wonderfully friendly staff all throughout.

I have had grouper up and down the Southwest coast and the way this chef prepared my dish the other night was by far the best I have ever had. Everything was great and we didn't even have to leave the property. I suggest anyone vacationing Clearwater give Rusty's Bistro a shot.

Food and service was great. Most restaurants in the area have had very long wait times but we didn't have any problem getting in here.

Even though we didn't get our favorite waitress Diane, the guy we had was very good doing 14 people almost on his own!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was calm and romantic. Great place to come for a more dressed up dinner. Crab cakes are by far the most amazing ones I've had and the burger was a huge portion! Perfectly cooked and juicy. The bisque was a bit spicy but still very good. Would definitely recommend!
