This practitioner knows his craft! He should, since he’s been doing it for 45 years. I went to him for severe arthritis in my left and right shoulders, neck, and left IT band. He explained that I was tight all over, not just those spots in my body, and began working on me. He explained the why and wherefore of everywhere he touched me & made clear that for example, if I had tingling in my fingers, it was related to tightness elsewhere in my body. He pointed out areas that were tight that I wasn’t even aware of, and always explained why he was working on a particular part of my body and it’s relationship to other body parts. Best of all, Angelo taught me stretches that I could do at home, in between sessions with him. He was the first PT or chiropractor I had ever worked with who explained that one had to hold stretches for a minimum of 2 minutes for them to be effective. (Other practitioners had called for 30 seconds or less.) After about 3 weeks if working together, 2x a week, I found myself to be able to more easily move my body, and with less pain. And if all this wasn’t enough, Angelo is an interesting and easy person to talk with. Run, do not walk to do myofascial release with this man. The only negative is that he requires payment up front and only thereafter, submit to the insurance company. I couldn’t afford that and therefore had to stop seeing him.
