Barwick Park

Great park! The slide was gigantic and my kids , nine, seven and four are able to overcome their fear of heights after going their a few times. I guess familiarity, really. The playground is covered which makes planning a lot easier since you can basically go there in the middle of the day and it’s shaded.

A quiet 1-mile nature trail with outdoor gym facilities and playground suitable for families and individuals with varying fitness levels. No dogs allowed apart from service and guide animals. There is also access to clean toilets.

We really enjoyed this park. It's amazing, to be honest, but it's a bit (or a lot) challenging. There are 2 playground structures for different age groups plus 2 very tall slides. Trail walk and baby swings.
If you don't like to walk every step behind your little ones, this might not be the park for you. You must have your eyes very open and alert. Follow me in insta as @divine.southflorida for more places to visit and things to do with kids.

Had an awesome time at the park with my daughter. Unique playground with a big slide. She loved that it was different from the typical playground.

Nice trails to ride your bike. She rode her bike around a looping path, which was convenient.

I definitely recommend anybody with children. We had so much fun that we lost track of time and stayed until dusk, at which point the security announced it was time for everybody to leave. We got a kick out of that, too. Nice go know that the park has security present 👍

Beautiful cozy park. Small place for parking. Only one huge gazebo. Didn’t see any grill. Best playground in Palm Beach.

Such a beautiful, spacius and newly made park.

It has a walking trail into the trees and bushes, nice meadow to play anything and gazebo with many tables and seats.

Also this park has best slides I have ever seen in a park in South Florida. Here are some photos!

This is one of my favorite parks in Delray Beach. There is a wonderful one and 1/4 mile fitness trail and outdoor exercise equipment and now there is an incredible brand new playground that opened on June 10th. Delray Beach Parks and Recreation has been creating new playgrounds throughout the city and this may be the best one yet.

The new playground has a Jetsons space vibe. The highlights is the two, four story slides. In addition to the slides there are so many places to crawl, nest, climb, and test your balance. There is a shade cover overhead to protect the kiddos from the sun. Along with Sugar Sand Park, this is one of the nicest playgrounds I have seen in the area. The park also has a restroom and tables to picnic along with dispensers to fill your water bottles. This is an excellent place for safe and free family fun in the fresh air.

Nice park for kids & adults! The playgrounds are cool and better compare to other parks! The park has sections for physical fitness and walking.

Nice to get out again to the park. Taking it slow since it has been years. The path near the parking lot can use some repairs.

Edit 2/27/23; I went there to wax my car under the shade. New equipment for the kids to play on. It looks very nice.

Great park for relaxing and clearing your mind. There is an updated playground for children, so you can hear laughter and giggling too. I use Barwick for my walking/jogging exercise by following the exercise path they have created.

Amazing playgrounds surrounded by a 1 mile winding jogging trail. Playgrounds are 3 different structures at different heights for different sized kids but all will find somewhere to play

Park is getting some much appreciate attn from the city with new playground equipment. Community Greening planted a bunch of new pine trees. Great big open field wonderful for exercise, soccer or a game of Frisbee. Large exercise area covered that was a project by local high school students. Beloved neighborhood park

My daughter enjoys the place so much! They have cool playground suited for kids and also exercise area for adults and nice walking/biking trail.

Great climbing/slide structure. Lots of open space for play. Nice walking path. Not too much parking.

My daughter loves this new park. Has a nice shaded area with tables. Has a whole section for working out for adults with machines. Also has walking paths to exercise.

Am small para on West Delrey, excellent for a 1 mile run or to walk and enjoy nature, picnic tables to sit and relax, nice atmosphere !.

I visit barwick quite oftenit's a place that I love to go to over there you can exercise walk-run there are different stations that has tables for bench press. When I go there I do yoga. If you follow the trail and all the different references it's a park for physical training. I believe it's one mile per complete trail.
