Aurora St Luke's Medical Center

On April 23rd spent the day in the ER at St Lukes with my son. The staff were the kindest most empathetic I’ve ever seen. His nurse Erin M.and his Dr. Daniel (I’m pretty sure last name was) Schneider and even his lab tech Keisha were top notch. They all really took time to listen and engage. They were extremely busy that day and were did have to wait to be seen. Totally understandable . The level of care received was worth the wait! Thank you to the staff for turning worry into relief!!

My experience with the staff at St Luke's was totally positive. Every person that I encountered was caring and competent. The facility was clean and comfortable. I have another procedure coming up and I am very confident that all will be well.

This review is for the Emergency Room. We brought my dad in on Sunday night, Dec 3, 2023, and we pulled up to the ER entrance. My dad was incapacitated, so I ran in to ask for help. A team of people ran to the car to help Dad into the hospital. A big strong male nurse was one, and he scooped my dad out of the car, and carefully set him in the wheelchair. Once in the ER, the team consisted of 11 people trying to help him. Once they got my dad situated, the same male nurse came in to check on him. He was so caring, and answered my questions, he truly seems to care about his patients. I asked him his name, and he told me it’s Tory. Thank you Tory. And thank you to the rest of the ER staff. They all did a very good job, but I wanted to make sure I thanked Tory for your patience and kindness.

Very large facility & confusing to get around, but the people were great! Friendly, helpful. But most of all, the Dr's are great!! Our sister had to have 2 surgeries in the same procedure, removing cancer & came out cancer free! And amazingly healing quickly!

From the ER to being admitted,
to the MRI team they were absolutely wonderful, they listened to my needs, got what I needed from Drs , were awesome with lab draws , the MRI guys were awesome I was in there for an hour and didn't feel afraid or anything. The Docs all listened including the surgeon and pain team. The Nurses and CNA answered call lights on time. I was in building K 6th floor L6428 please give the teams all shifts a huge shout out ! My experience is way better than at Froedtert any stay I had.

AWESOME HOSPITAL WITH DOCTORs and NURSES THAT ARE CARING AND INFORMATIVE! my brother had his first bypass surgery and we knew nothing about anything and how things went but with the help of wonderful nurses everything went so smoothly and STRESS FREE! I GREATLY APPRECIATED ALL THE NURSES IN THE PRE OP AND CVICU CENTER FOR CARING FOR OUR FAMILY AND MAKING SURE HE WAS WELL TAKEN CARE OF FROM START TO FINISH! just PHENOMENAL SERVICE! thanks again to the WONDERFUL NURSES in the following units:

This is a huge campus! Learning facility. Its where we go for the SERIOUS Things. Heart, Lungs, Cancer... EXCELLENT DOCTORS!

I was scheduled at St. Luke’s to have a heart catheterization. I had a bad experience the last time at a different hospital and ended up getting a brain bleed. I told them that my body doesn’t like Lovenox as a bridge for my blood and they listened. It was a smooth experience, I felt very confident . You, St. Luke’s, and your staff for having me in such good hands.

St.Luke's in Milwaukee is an outstanding facility with a primary focus on making their patients' feel comfortable and cared for. They succeed magnificently. Kindness is clearly as high on the list of priorities as is professional expertise. I strongly recommend this hospital to anyone choosing a place for their own health care. It is superior in every category to the many other hospitals I have had to be a patient in.

I enjoyed every minute I was there I had a prosthetic shoulder put in, came out with pain control, left with pain control. Gwen my nurse in Day surgery was the best. She had a great sense of humor and personality made it easy to be strolled out of that room thank you Glenn

I underwent surgery at St Lukes in December of 2023. My surgeon was Dr. Peter Leonovicz. Prior to my surgery, I was a nervous wreck, forcing my internist to put me on anti-anxiety medication. The staff at St Lukes took such great care of me the anti-anxiety meds were unnecessary.
Ensconced in Room C3102A, the aides, Michele and Alexis, and the nurses Shanon, Michelle, Margaret, etc, were empathetic, caring, and knowledgable, able to listen and comprehend what I needed. I’m difficult! The last time I spent an overnight in a hospital was in 1959! I am used to VIP treatment, and I am often a dilettante. However, my arrogance was diffused by the sincerity of my caregivers at St. Lukes Hospital. I’m home recuperating, but I will never forget the kindness and care shown to me by the overworked and underappreciated staff. You are all amazing.

I just left an over 1,000 letter review. Hopefully it will be added to this. Nurse Marisa and receptionist Kim have went up and beyond as far as their knowledge, respectfulness, friendlyness, and so so much more! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!! They are outstanding individuals!

I had surgery on 11/10/23 at St. Luke's Medical Center. Overall this place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. I felt so at ease here as I laughed through the 2nd attempt at putting in my IV. Who laughs when getting an IV? That initial stick is not pleasant but the staff and I was talking and laughing during the entire process. I was well taken care of the entire time I was there and so was my husband. He was kept informed throughout the entire process. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Great location, great staff, and very knowledgeable team overall. Dr. Navarrete and Dr. P. Cheung and the rest of their team are the best!

Initially I left a bad review, due to lack of communication. I have changed my opinion. My mother in law was on 10 south. She passed away. The staff on 10 south was great. The palliative care team was very compassionate and kind. They made a sad process a lot easier. Thank you

I’m a cancer patient, been coming here for 3 years. Great staff back then in the Surgery, ICU, Chemotherapy, Radiation, and in-patient therapy/rehab department. And great staff now in the neuro oncology, Dr. Melguizo and his team are awesome!

Who would have though a colonoscopy could be a good experience? Dr Moloney respected my health care choice for no sedation and confidently explained the procedure as he went frequently checking on my comfort levels. His staff anticipated and responded to my needs with professionalism and the team worked together congenially thus evaporating any of my stress . I am grateful to them all and would recommend this group for your GI needs.

I had a mitral valve repair done on Aug. 7 by Dr. Crouch. It went extremely well. Dr Crouch and his staff were outstanding every step of the way thru all the tests leading up to surgery. I can’t say enough good about them. The entire cardiac recovery floor was exceptional also. Everyone professional,caring, and courteous. I was very comfortable putting my trust in them

My mom was in ICU for several days. The staff were all top shelf. Always on the spot for care and very attentive. Even the doctors spent more time than you would expect from them.
