As many of the 5 star reviewers have said, I have no idea where people are experiencing all these issues at this VA. I have been a patient at this VA going on 10 years. I have been given 1/1/ therapy when I have asked for it (in a very timely manner). I am always very much treated with respect and the utmost care when I am there no matter what I am there for.
A good thing for veterans and their family members to do is get hooked up with a profile through My HealtheVet. There you can find appointments, refill prescriptions and message your providers and see responses.
Another great tool is the Health app (Iphone, not sure about Android). Once you have it downloaded, you can link your VA account and see EVERYTHING (test results, conditions, vitals , notes from doc visits etc..).
Thank you to everyone at Zablocki VA for ALL that you do. From the crew that sanitizes and makes sure the building is cared for, to the administrators, and nurses and all the doctors and residents in training!!

As a veteran with multiple health issues and after ending up in this ER on two occasions, I've been attended to by doctors,nurses, and staff all over this hospital. I've received the absolute best medical care, both emergency and ongoing care. It's a bit of a drive for me, as I live in rural northeast Wisconsin, but I am so thankful for this place and the people who make it happen.

I've always received excellent care from the VA. Their collaboration with local teaching hospitals is excellent. I've been treated there for the past 25 years. No complaints, just a lot of praise!

Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee is one of the finest in the country! That's fact. I've been coming here for years and initially it wasn't so good. Then the Government decided to put a lot of money into this Veteran's hospital. They've been refurbishing, changing practices, adding more doctors etc. Since 2006 and it continues until this day. It's become a very nice and I get the care I need.

I just read some of the reviews. Can't believe some of them. I've been going there for probably close to 15 years. Never ever had a problem. Operations all went great. Cancer treatment was superb. Some times waits seem like a long time to be seen, trust me they are not. If some of you don't care for the VA, go to one of the local hospitals and see how you are treated. Let the ones of us that appreciate the hospital enjoy it.

I have been a patient on the 7th floor for just over a week now. When I was first admitted, I was unable to stand on my own. Everyone here completes the wheel. Food service does an excellent job and provides a lot of choices.
The doctors and nurses treated me great and brought my health back up. Maggie and Tyler did a great job at night making me feel I was in good hands. Sydney and James took care of my medical needs during the day.
Naturally, there are more staff members. Thank you to everyone on the 7th floor for the professionalism and for making me feel comfortable almost like home

Since going to the VA for my medical care, I have nothing but praise for everyone that works there. The doctors and nurses really have your health and well being in mine with kindness I’ve not seen before.All the care givers love their jobs.Inturn they treat there patients with love!!!

The stigma has always been that the VA is a nightmare to deal with. I can’t disagree more. Every employee and physician I interacted with were very professional and kind. This caliber of service makes me proud to be a veteran.

Great place for certain things other things need work. But overall satisfied
