SPORT Clinic Physical Therapy

I received great relief for my adductor strain at Sport Clinic, but what I was most impressed by were all of the general health and strength training tips that I received as well in my road to recovery. I went in to treat for one specific problem and came out a healthier person overall. The therapists were knowledgeable and great to work with and the staff was fantastic as well. A very good experience and outcome.

I have been to SPORT clinic a couple of times for treatment over the space of about 10-15 years; once for neck and once for back radiculopathy. I have had complete success with long term (hopefully permanent) remission of my neck symptoms for many years. My recent back symptoms have been 99% eliminated with about 10 sessions and I am sure they will resolve completely in the next couple weeks. I saw mostly John H., but also Susan and Lindsey on occasion. The PT staff and the office staff are all very friendly and easy to work with.

I had a lot of contact with medical professionals during my career and believe I can distinguish between average and superior, and John and his staff are superior. I think their best asset is that their treatment is clearly patient specific; not just cookie-cutter going through the motions. They listened to my concerns/thoughts, etc., and clearly matched my therapy to my symptoms and complaints and to my personal situation and fitness. I have been a runner and a golfer for a long time and have always been able to get back to both.

Excellent experience with John. I went for PT for an elbow injury, but his approach was comprehensive and he incorporated work on previous neck, spine & shoulder issues. Treating more than just my current injury helped decrease/eliminate general pain and increase flexibility & movement. John used more strength working my joints than previous PTs I've had, which was a positive for me. I feel it helped to significantly loosen joints. Other therapists and assistants at Sport Clinic are helpful and pleasant. Good team approach.

Sport Clinic has been and continues to be my go to physical therapy specialists for many years. From upper spinal fusion to shoulders, knees, wrist and now bulging L3 disc, the therapists have used the initial ortho doctors diagnosis, and in some instances the follow up surgical therapy, to select physical therapy for each ache and pain and train me to do follow up exercises on my own. The therapists and staff are cordial and friendly. The facilities are first class and maintained. Great staff and knowledgeable in the body and mind.

I had an awesome experience with John and the entire Sport Clinic staff. I just finished 3 months of therapy after shoulder surgery and I could not have been more impressed with John's staff. Everyone was helpful, kind and sincerely concerned for my progress to recovery, even pushing me when necessary.

I am currently a patient recovering from knee replacement. Ariel Skavdahl is my therapist. She also worked with me prior to my surgery. She is wonderful. She is able to get more from me than I am able to on my own. Very motivating. She is very knowledgeable and her advice has been valuable. Her interpersonal skills are top notch. Having been told you need physical therapy but you don't know where to go for therapy. I have had several therapy trials, but I wanted to find a therapy center that met my needs.It was not until I started therapy at the Sports Clinic in Bayside,Wisconsin did I develop the confidence that I would get better.
I have seen the director, JOHN Hendrickson, many times and his skills, professionalism genuine concern for each patient is remarkable. He is a gifted therapist who is supported by multiple treating staff who each have their own modalities,specialties and skills. It is a cohesive group interested in helping each patient meet their goals.
You will be delighted with your progress and experience at the Sport Clinic. Efforts are made by the office staff to setup your appointments at your convince and according to the recommendations of your therapist.

I've been treated here for back pain and plantar fasciitis and I feel better after just a few visits! I've had 4 different therapists here and they were all fantastic! They are very knowledgable and skilled at manual techniques. They've taught me a lot about my body and give me the exercises that are unique to my physical needs. The environment is very engaging and friendly.

I have been a patient at Sport Clinic for a while and have had many body parts worked on and by far John and his staff are superb! Everyone who works here are warm and very friendly. You are made to feel comfortable even when you are in pain. When you leave the pain has lessened. The entire staff is very knowledgeable, understanding, comforting, and kind!

I absolutely love Sport Clinic. I came in with my neck and back out of alignment. I had been severely struggling with sitting up straight, and overall body alignment. With the help of Erin Woody, I am able to sit up straight and have better alignment every time I walk!
Erin uses very gentle exercises, and is very easy to work with. If you don't have a lot of tools at home, she will work with you to get what you need to keep improvement. I am a very sensitive person, and she is really gentle. I really recommend Erin Woody, and Sport Clinic all around!

The staff is great, and most importantly my symptoms went from painful to not in a short period of time. I had a rotator cuff injury that made most exercise and any arm motion behind my back unbearable. John and team utilized strengthen exercises, stretching and dry needling to loosen up and strengthen my joint. The dry needling was new to me but I believe it was key to getting my deltoid moving again. I definitely recommend this team!

Excellent therapists who listen, think outside the box, use multiple modalities, and make sure you reach your goal. I was shocked by how fast I made progress following the protocol given by my therapists. I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic and have already shared my story with family and friends.

Great physical therapy clinic. They work as a team and all of the therapists did a great job of dealing with my issue. A very caring team as well. Next time I have an issue, I will not hesitate to return.

I found that this place has very good PT and the office staff is very friendly. I am so glad they got rid of their billing person. She never filed my claims on time or never filed them at all. I have referred this place to many of my friends and they have had EXCELLENT outcomes, except for the old billing person messing up their claims.

I am a streak runner and have been running outside for 4 miles, for 10 1/2 years without EVER missing a day.
I had extreme pain in both my feet with planters facitis and Morton’s neuroma. I went to the Good Feet store and a podiatrist and got two different kinds of shoe inserts that were no help at all. They actually made things worse. Only until I went to Physical Therapy with John at SPORT Clinic did I become pain free. He stretched, manipulated, massaged and taped my feet. The exercises and stretches he taught me will be something that I will do for life. Because of John my streak continues on. And yes no more inserts!!!
