Veterans Memorial Park

I went to this park for Family Movie Night. There is a large open field, a walking path and a few benches. I did not notice any bathrooms or picnic tables. There is a playground for kids. Animals are welcomed.

Great track for running or jogging, plenty of shaded areas. Clean public bathrooms. There is a playground for kids and also an outdoor stage for concerts. This is a great outside rec area. Plenty of trees and friendly people. A water fountain in front of the court house also very pretty.

I love this park and the fact that it sits right across a police station makes me feel safe to go walking any time of day, rather you come alone or with the kids it's a beautiful place to go to.

VERY clean and perfect for walking. We visited here recently for the classic car show and our friends were impressed. A small playground which is great for the kids.

Very nice park well mantained and easily accessible my kids are always quick to suggest we go to this park my younger children love the playground my older children love the track so it is a win-win for my family each time we come out to Veteran's Memorial Park for exercise or a free event

Love this park. It has a few climbing fixtures for the kids, several big grassy areas to run and play and a walking path around the area. It's well lit and there's constant traffic on the walking path so you don't have to feel alone or scared if you're there by yourself. I'm so glad to find this park

One lap is a half mile. 1,000 steps. The track is made from cork so it's gentle on your knees. No dogs allowed but some people break the rules and bring them anyway. Occasionally you'll see poop on the track. I don't like that part.

Very nice walking trail. Plenty wide for slow walkers and the people who pass them..🙂

First time here and it's great! Nice, flat .5 mile track with paths to shorten the walk if you want. Curvy path that has beautiful landscaping, a picnic area, playground equipment and restrooms.

Beautiful walking park,recycled rubber instead of concrete or gravel makes the paths an easy walk ,especially for the ankles & knees. Plenty of benches for resting, police station nearby for security, Great walking for everyone

Love this park. It is a great place to walk and is an asset to the community. When this park first opened our kids were young they nicknamed it the Bug Park, as the kids playground is bug themed. The walking track is well maintained.

Lovely walking path..never crowded..benches along way case you need to rest a moment..always enjoy my walk there.

Really nice park to come walk, run, or jog around the track. Nice soft track is great on the feet.
I don't actually use the track myself. I'm not a fan of going around in little circles 20 times. I walk around the courthouse and down to the DMV building then around the park itself. That route is a couple miles. A lot better to me than 8-9 laps around the track. Plus adds a lot of elevation changes taking that route.
Clean bathrooms and plenty of police presence driving by to ensure all is well. Lit up nicely at night so safety shouldn't be any issue. The playground for the kiddos is pretty much non existent. There are a couple little things for them, but nothing that will keep them occupied for very long. Go elsewhere for a playground.

Great park to walk and relax! Open fields to run and play! A track that is clean and ergonomic with a pavilion and picnic tables to have lunch. There are vending machines with water but must bring your own food. There are security and safety stations around the park to assure a peaceful time.

Excellent walking trail that is well lit even late at night, well maintained, and clean.

Great work spot in parking lot for me and walk area. Park for kids. Great area with the memorial 🇺🇸

The track is nicely put together with lots of grass for wandering kids or exercising. They also hold touch a truck here and it's always so much fun for the kids!

Clean large area. Always nice when we go there. Walking jogging or kids playing. Have been there for summer movies n concerts. Not far from house.

Beautiful park with a nice 1/2 mile walking trail made out of recycled tire mulch so makes it easier on the feet to walk on. It also has a nice small amphitheatre ideal for concerts, a playground and several picnic tables suitable for a relaxing day.

I Love this place! It is a great walking or running place. I always bring family members and friends here for a good walk.
